Could be. This car had evidence of some past mods including a set of gauges on the pillar, a separate mounted tach on the dash, a hole in front of the shifter base (indicative of some sort of aftermarket auto shifter like a Hurst), and holes for what appears to be a nitrous bottle in the hatch area. I suspect the car had a drag career at some point in its past.
@@98saleen every pedal went on fine for me except the damn brake pedal. I heated it up so much it pulled the glue and I ended up mangling it up so much that I have to order another and try again.
Oh no! I always have to use a small screwdriver to help pull the rubber over the pedal. It's a tight fit. You can also take a razor blade and trim a little excess rubber off to help it go on.

The spring isn't need for the new gas pedal?
No it is not needed. This pedal fits really tight against the arm so you throw the spring away.
