ok when i volunteered for a short time before i moved for a potential career with norfolk southern that didnt work out. the alpha bravo charlie and delta sides confused the hell out of me , and the BEFO book didnt explain it well
@@noahater5785 Yeah no it's all based on where Fire Command is setup at, that's at least how it is with departments in my area and can't speak for others but most departments I have visited base Alpha where fire command is

I live in a rural town of less than 800 where the entire department is volunteer and they really do a great job. Just because you're a volunteer doesn't mean you can't serve your community and save lives!

It depends Alpha is the side where fire command is setup at, being a Fire Captain their are times Alpha could be backside, Left side or Right side.
Oh, I thought A was the front, B was the back, and C & D are the sides
