All narcissists are liars. When you mention the word narcissist, it automatically implies the person is a big big liar.
I can’t argue with that.

11 years for me, he just about got me to kill myself. Thank God I came across videos like these. I divorced him and I’m free now to heal.
I just had a long term friend to stay for 2 months, he’s always been a lying prick but this time. He stole from me and took me for a mug. I feel dirty afterwards, then he threatened me when I called him out on his lies.
GOD please help me get out and away from this narcissistic torture. I pray, beg and grieve for it but everything I do fails. It's like a curse or punishment from GOD. GOD please help me escape from this narcissistic relationship. I'm already not inlove with this person anymore, now I'm just trapped with no help. I lost everything to this person already, now I'm on the verge of being homeless with nothing. GOD help me please.

They know they’re lying but at some point they start believing those lies. They no longer know what the truth is and their lie becomes their truth.
A lying narcissist is like wet water. It's built in.

Don't respond. Turn and walk away. No Contact. They will never change and if you are in their orbit, you will always be a target for blame.
The narc that I was with got highly offended when you corrected him and he would twist the facts to point out some idiosyncratic relevance to his mistatements. For example, if he said, "Today is Monday". And you pointed to a calendar that showed that today is actually Tuesday. He would say, "Well, it WAS Monday yesterday!". Yes, I'm shaking my head right now!
Mine used to say if the question isn't exactly what needs to be asked you deny. That gave him the chance to deny EVERYTHING. So exhausting
You’ve provided one of the best descriptions of narcissistic dishonesty that I’ve heard. However, I guess I am not inclined to be as gracious in response as you. My response is, “if you want to continue living in a false reality, that’s your prerogative, but I won’t be dragged into it. If you want to have a real conversation about this matter, you need to cut the crap.” Then I leave the room. I realize it’s futile to even say that much, but I’ve made my point clear, and if they want my attention, they will need to adjust their behavior. Narcissists only understand power and leverage, so if you have any leverage, you’ve got to use it.

Thank you so much for sharing this video. Absolutely everything you said applies to the person I was just in a relationship for 1 year and 3 months... It's amazing how you were describing my ex boyfriend with everything you said... I wish I did my research beforehand to save myself all the energy, time and financial resources I spent on this person, also all the pain and suffering it caused me... Now I realise that everything he said (that he loved me, cared for me, was in love with me, etc) was a lie, to keep me there, and keep hurting me but pretend that he is not doing it. I have learnt a huge lesson with this experience but I have costed me big, I've aged from being with this person and it affected my health as well.
I didn't say that, that didn't happen , that's not true . I realized it is their fantasy , and that's what they are going with , and I let them go . Fought the feeling I was responsible to save them . You can correct a child , but not a fool in their folly .

I never leave comments. But I MUST after watching this. I have watched maybe 200 or so videos on Narcissistic abuse in the last two months. I always knew my partner had a personality; it disorder of some kind, but after narrowing down and testing out certain theories, I have become 100% convinced she is a narcissist. BOTTOM LINE. after watching the Narssiist abuse videos and relating more than any video at ALL on UA-cam, and after watching this video.... I swear to god, this young woman IN THE VIDEO WE JUST WATCH ABOVE was coming over to my house, sneaking around the windows and cracks, planting bugs and cameras- BECAUSE there is no way in hell... that anyone could be this perfectly and insightfully accurate I mean she described my baby momma so close so perfect, I🤯 started to cry. she used the same words I would use and everything. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS. I seriously thought I was alone in this. You are an ANGEL!.
They don't have any soul, yes like five year old, lying to everyone, to have their way.
I just went through that. I see darkness and a lost soul. I don't feel safe or happy. I feel depressed and looking for a new path.

I'm going thru this now, been going on for 2 yrs. I'm so sad n down n he's verbally n physically abusive. He says "what's it matter if I lie"? Sorry ur dealing w this 😢
So glad I listened to this video! It put into words everything I know to be true in regard to the narcisisst in my life for 50 years. He passed away, and I felt he was controlling me from the grave.
There are times that you have to counter them. Going through divorce is one of those times and it’s genuinely satisfying to show emails/texts to an attorney and judge.

I pummel Narcissist’s ego all day and everyday for fun. It’s a skill and talent. If you don’t know how to stand up and defeat a narc, you will forever be bullied, lied, manipulated and betrayed. They exist everywhere in our society, and in our family. So it’s better people learn this skill or you will continue to run into them over and over.
@ effortlesssuccess2585. I agree. Plus everybody has a tad of this in them called self preservation. It is a sliding scale where some people are worse than others. I can see ditching a narc if they are dangerous but I’m getting sick of videos and comments where they believe the only answer is to ditch the narc. Get a divorce etc. been married to one 27 years and he destroyed me and his ex financially, I didn’t know what was happening. He has some learning deficits so I attributed his lack of functionality to that. But when I googled his behavior and found videos on narcs I knew I had a covert narc. I am elderly now and we are both in bad health. Mei her one of us would survive if we split up. It isn’t feasible. He is very ashamed at the games he played early in our marriage that destroyed us. I’m not sure he can empathize but he understand now he slit his own throat. He gets very upset and screams and runs out of the room if I even mention it. Presently I’m just establishing boundaries and accountability to try to avoid further financial los. Only thing that hurts real bad is I thought he was faithful. He was for the most part. Just had emotional phone affair recently with ex wife after we all reconnected because we sent condolences cuz her father died. So now after all the financial destruction I feel betrayed as well. He thought the phone relationship was harmless because she is married and two states away. She seems to have serious emotional problems due to her interference, like why? Presently he is confirming to all my requirements to build a better foundation. It cost him a lot. Before he had complete freedom. Now he has to produce receipts or account for his time. I hear of people sometimes acting like they have awesome spouses and wonder if they just put up a front.
effortlesssuccess2585. I also do t give into he lies out of frustration anymore. I tell him I know it’s a lie and I either put consequences on him or refuse to talk to him if he is lying. I insists that I will not tolerate the behavior. If he claims he’s a Christian I quote the scripture that his father is Satan the father of lies because real Christian’s do not exhibit these bad behaviors but rather exhibit virtues. He is quite miserable right now.

You should talk to a lawyer about something like that.
They always say , ‘seek professional …’. Hunny there is NO PROFESSIONAL help. They don’t exist look around.
I received professional help. I know there are bad therapists out there, but I still recommend seeking professional help if you have the option.

and we all like to share our experiences or opinions but it cant be the absolute truth,its a part of truth,so when you literally see someone accusing someone else without any evidence or in their elaboration of experiences they are always the victim even with all kinds of people on the other side,its a grey opinion and not the exact action based experience, you can have issues with certain set of people but not all, likewise a friend to all is friend to none, admitting to truth is always heavier than spreading lies
