The best way to deal with green is to rush then early so they either awaken early and have no energy to bring out their big boss cards and end up wiping out cus they cant deal with the pressure or they combo and end up with a low hand which is still a plus, and yellow is prob the best at early rush because especially with the recoome ginyu engine u can have a bunch of bodies on board which messes them up a ton
True also if you’re playing yellow into green you shouldn’t even try and kill their Brolys and instead focus on locking them down with golden frieza and going for game. Bc late game green decks usually have really crappy combo potential outside of gigantic meteor.
Green has: -45k Broly that attacks twice (NOT double strike) -Gohan who can wipe out the ENTIRE field when he comes out -17 & 18 Double strike and some other gimmick I'm forgetting -Gero's lab to infinitely bring back andoirds -Cellku to infinitely generate energy On tope of those, the deck has the basics that every other deck has. It's incredibly unfair and unbalanced, just ONE of those cards could improve any of the other decks but no, they all ended up in the green deck somehow. Meanwhile red's best card is UI Goku that gets blown away immediately by more than half the green deck. I really enjoy this game but I really hate green decks. I can't even bring myself to want to play green though, it feels cheap. The one upside is that destroying green players with a blue deck is so satisfying. Anyway, fun video but you gotta stop describing EVERY card as "That's a great card".
Yeah, as far as issues I currently see with the game, and this is coming from a long time tcg player who is considering making this game my main tcg IF the next 2 or 3 sets improve things. But the current big issues I see are 1 - Green has pretty much exclusive access to 'boss monsters'. Blue has one 6 drop monster and one 5 drop monster. Red has three 5 drop monsters. Yellow has two 5 drop monsters. This is where those 3 colors cap out. But Green has five 6 drop monsters, a 7 drop monster, and an 8 drop monster. 2 - They printed an asinine amount of energy cards in set 1 for green. No other color can ramp, which isn't inherently an issue, since that's green's thing. But in like every other TCG that uses a mana system, you see maybe 2-4 ramp cards a set, with 1 or 2 of those being competitively viable. But in Fusion World, green has 7(?) ramp cards, AND Broly ramps you. Like it feels like Blue, Red, and Yellow are still missing cards for their decks but Green came out the gate with a competitive deck. 3 - All the removal pieces have a cap on what they effect. Like Final Flash only hits 5 and below, which literally means it hits everything except the Goku Black 6 drop and like.... 7+ green cards. We really need things that don't have an energy limit on what they remove, since it effectively keeps us from interacting with green's boss monsters. Red CAN remove green's boss monsters but it usually involves stacking up multiple -10k penalties on a unit to get it to 0. It's pretty inefficient.
Sweet, another Fusion World video! I started playing this game thanks to you, and it's an absolute blast even with the Greens rampaging everywhere. Though I've only been playing for 2 weeks, I think I can give you some tips as a Yellow main (Frieza). First of all, the 2-cost blockers are overrated because they either get popped, snapped, put in rest mode, or bounced back to the hand/deck. Zarbon and Neiz are good early game, because of the free 1-life, though I got rid of Zarbon because while Neiz's effect is mandatory, he has 10000 combo power, so he's good for that post-awakening. One exception is the Red Cui, because he can be effective against Green decks, since they can only KO, so you could stop a Broly for a turn. Yellow decks are first and foremost, control decks specializing in Rest Mode and locking key fighters down via Guldo/Golden Frieza, and stalling via Red Cui and Cooler. Something else you could consider using is the Ginyu Force engine, because it's a great way to flood your board with 20000 power fighters, which will threaten awakened leaders (except Broly), and is the other way to play the deck. Also, something that I realized is that the game is as much about pace as it is resource management. What I mean is that in the beginning, there's no real need to defend the first couple of times because it gets you closer to awakening, and you get a card as long as it's not a critical. But as the turns go on, you have to begin to think "is this worth it?" whether it's spending more to attack the leader, or get rid of a fighter that could become a headache later on, or to defend the leader/ fighter. Basically, you're preparing for the post-awakening game, because that's where you can't afford to get hit carelessly because before you know it, you're at 2, your opponent sends out their double-strike fighter and finishes you with an all-out attack.
I just clicked on this and saw Rhyme playing Cooler. I'm 90% certain before watching any further he'll try to reset Double Strike Golden Frieza with it or not realize he can reset energy as well.
My problem with Green is that is like playing old YGO vs new YGO. Green keeps doing insane combos with almost unlimited energy, while all the others struggle with resources, which I think it's the point of the game.
I wouldent say its that crazy, usually green turns are pretty easy to map out. If they have 8 energy they are only really dropping one card. The real color with new ygo combos is blue.
Love the content but you shpuld know that yellow (frieza) is as much meta as Broly btw. Real good yellow players just rush down green players with ease
I would love to see more of this from you it’s a great game that I enjoy to play and watch. I enjoy your energy, but I’m looking forward to when you get better at the game, green decks are broken, for sure, but some of the things you pointed out about I just don’t agree, like having a big hand size. For example you literally turn 3 will have them play a card that does nothing but give them more energy. It’s a really good card, but does nothing like their first 3 turns are doing nothing and if you play aggressively with a critical leader you can really punish them. Especially if you can just go wide and fast. It’s also probably why you aren’t seeing much green in your matches it’s so meta defining everyone is trying to build a deck to counter it, like freeze, cooler, and beerus are probably some of the best (captain ginyu is also really good against green except broly)

Gunyu yellow is amazing and it only have issues on broly because hes a 25k leader but gohan and androids its a pretty easy win and we are getting new box in a few weeks so we will see if the meta changes
I love this game too. Downside is as f2p player you got the problem that you are bound to one deck for a while unless you get two of the starter decks. But then you can't really can't compete in ranked XD I'm bound to my green deck which I switched to a Gohan deck now but tbh I wanna play something else. Trying to save up for the red starter deck so I can at least use the Goku Blue leader that I got^^
The draw drop one is actually Frog Ginyu On a more important note, taking damage doesn't draw you a card from the main deck. It's actually like Pokemon, where you put 6 random cards aside after drawing your starting hand.
@RhymeStyle at some point you should stop charging cards around 5 or 6 energy for most decks only green should go to 8 or 9. On the first game for example you had 3 cards in hand why are you charging when you are basically top decking.
Ive got to take the time to tell you.. I tried playing a broly deck at level 3. It matched me in ranked to level 150/180 ranked 3RD AND 22ND GOD players. I have 3 total wins in about 20 ranked matches as a base GREEN DECK. This game is NOT F2P FRIENDLY.

I've been watching this game since it came out,ive watch tournaments I've watched free play everything that is covered in this and green is not an instant win I have seen it lose to red starter goku and yellow ginyu plenty of times, you just got to know how to play on curve and when to play certain things when to attack when not to and other various factors

I actually believe we'll get Androids 19 & 20 in Sparking Zero after years of them being absent in DB console games. It'll be weird at first seeing them in the same game as Hit, Jiren, Goku Black, Zamasu, Kale, Kakunsa, Dyspo, Bergamo etc.

I used Broly and for me it just always loses for me 😂 the amount of time it takes to get things out is to much for me. The time I get something out that can hit my opponent cam just bounce it and that’s it.

Broly isn't so bad if you 'Go wide' ... lots of 20 / 25k bodies applying constant pressure... Just have to beat him out before he can drop his 2nd or 3rd 8 drop. I was having a hard time with them until I learned that..
I picked the blue deck which is one of the worst in the game and without looking it up to confirm I could tell green was easily meta, safe to say I now play Pokemon TCG online instead lol

Except you'll be playing with the free green deck vs P2W green deck and the difference is incredible, I have not gotten a single win nor a single match against anyone with a default deck.
even the free green deck is insane compared to others. I mean obviously if you play a stacked green player, you got an uphill battle, but you can literally auto win with the generic green deck

One of the hardest aspects to learn in this game, is that you need to buy around $60 worth of booster packs in order to win consistently.

Yea and it doesn't even matter if you don't attack them with non crit cards they can just get energy for price of free regardless.

Green is definitely fun and great meta wise but Androids are just kinda meh for green and Gohan gets bodied by yellow. The “green problem” is more of a Broly problem imo lmao

Broly isn't so bad if you 'Go wide' ... lots of 20 / 25k bodies applying constant pressure... Just have to beat him out before he can drop his 2nd or 3rd 8 drop. I was having a hard time with them until I learned that..

Except you'll be playing with the free green deck vs P2W green deck and the difference is incredible, I have not gotten a single win nor a single match against anyone with a default deck.
even the free green deck is insane compared to others. I mean obviously if you play a stacked green player, you got an uphill battle, but you can literally auto win with the generic green deck
