How is this too complicated for other players ?
This is real co-op, no rush and taking almost zero damage, impressive !
because
1. Things don't go as plan, like you have a strategy to beat the group of enemies but it's either 1 person who ends up screwing up the plan /
sometimes its not them that screws the plan, other time its the A.I being random targeting a player making the player panic.
2. People are Hella Impatient. either to push the button first, or getting to the destination first and so on.
3. There is no communication with one another. Example: when me and the bros (4 player) were playing WWZ one person tends to leave the group to collect the 5 items we need without saying anything, and expect them to know what they are gonna do. When we do communicate, other players don't end up listening or choose to ignore the player and do their own thing.
4. Everyone wants to leave the group and do their own thing. I understand when it comes to certain games like Borderlands or Monster Hunter/God Eater when people separate to make a side mission complete quicker, but games that require teamwork should force everyone to stay at a certain range. Look at 15:08 everyone is all together and not running off.. people lack that kind of crap of sticking together and protect one another.
In CO-OP games like these where teamwork is required or is key to succeed. I always end up defending my goober friends from getting killed or to prevent them from loosing a lot of health if when they are focusing on planting a device or getting an item. However, none of them has even try to defend me. Only one of my friend is willing to work with me so we can be successful.
IT IS WHAT IT IS! They may piss me off at times, but so long we are having fun then that's what really matter to me lol.
Miss this. Times when people played the division with a role play element. I always loved the tactical aspect of the division games.

I wish I could find people to play like this with on Xboxone it's the reason I play solo and take my time slowly working through the game . Can't wait to see what Washington DC has instore.

This is how games like this should be played. Not face tanking and rushing. Keep it up team.
I play solo and I don't even rush in. My loadout's mostly an AR and SMG, but I mostly use the AR. My mains are the Assault Drone and the Machine Turret so I could just sit in one spot until I have to move to another for a better shot. It's as realistic to a one man wrecking crew like Olympus has Fallen as I could get and I'm all PVE since it's how I play any MMO game.
I think this style of teamwork is a tad overkill for this game, considering the AI isn't exactly complicated.
But...Not gonna deny it's neat seeing people actually work together for a change. My brother and I just started Division 2(late, I know, but it's on sale for $3. Ain't gonna pass it up). We aren't the most tactical, but we try to work together. We split up a tiny bit to get both sides, we call out before we attack so we can shoot at the same time, or throw our stuff at the same time.
There's something about this game that actually brings out the teamwork side of people.
Hell, even doing on-call work in this game is usually fun for the same reason. I see a popup for someone needing help, I hop into their game. Neither of us know each other or have ever met, yet here we are working together without even talking. He gets hurt, I toss out my shield drone to follow him around. I get hurt, he throws a healing nade at me. We split up just enough to keep eyes on each other, but still hit the enemies at different spots.
Sure, I'll get an occasional 'on call' request from an idiot just running into enemies, dying a lot. Or someone that's just free-roaming, doing nothing of interest. But I'm surprised at how many on-call requests turn out to actually go pretty well. It's kind of refreshing to see how coopertive people tend to be in this game. (I mean, coming from so many other coop games or pvp games where people or fucking morons and it makes me wanna bash my head against a brick wall for a while.)
This is definitely not overkill, the issue isnt the AI (which is diverse and complex); the issue is the sheer amount of braindead players who abandon skill and tactics for inflated builds.
People running into live-fire, camping on turrets, drone-spamming or just doing overall dumb shit.
That is the problem with this game, I hate playing w/ randoms in this game because they play this and *EVERY* tactical shooter like its GTA.
They run in, try to superman shit, die, get revived and do it again or run and camp
You guys need to make an in game clan for those of us who wish to play like this. I'm on x1 too and always try to find players more tactically orientated like this
I hope that new game mode they announced is more realistic so you guys could shine.

A clan full of players who plays like this would be badass, Ive almost always played solo but played similar to this, most Division players are blood thirsty run and gun Rambo speedrunners type of dudes. Glad to see some gameplay like this. Cheers 🍻

Second comment. Watching this almost reminds me of that scripted as hell "gameplay" they showed off for this game. The one where the group didn't sound at all like real players, but instead, paid actors.
That's ALMOST what you guys sound like. Less scripted than they were. But I just find it funny because that video is filled with people commenting along the lines of "No one actually talks like that." and yet, here you are. And in the Beta no less.
