For more than 35 years, Carnegie Hall has collaborated with museums, colleges, libraries, community centers, churches, and cultural organizations to bring free concerts for all ages-of classical, jazz, and world music-to neighborhoods throughout the five boroughs of New York City. The 2011‒2012 season, which will reach approximately 12,500 people, also includes Community Sings, in which audience members are invited to be a part of the performance.
Tabla Player is Pritwiraj Bhattachargee, Disciple of Ustad Zakir Hussein.
He is my tabla teacher, and Kalaji taught me Indian Classical Vocal Lessons as a child.
I am highly obliged with the contribution of Kala Ramnathji for explanation of the Raga so beautifully.Request Kalaji to make available more videos.
