Last year i played in a free $1M league. There was thousands of people playing. No one expects to win anything but they are fun! Anyway, last year (NFL) I placed 148th and won $1.50! Obviously that's shit, but i was proud of that! 148th out of thousands of players!

It's basically trying to crack a code, that's it! You have an idea of whose going to do good, you just have to find that sleeper. I only do like 8-10 lineups because I'm that good, but most of the big winners are " computer generated!!!"
Well, after reading almost all the contest I see where you guys explain that there are different levels of the 50/50. It makes sense to me now why you guys do it
You guys are right on rule #2. I played in 1000 person, single entry $10 double up on DK's last weekend. I got a 155 points from my lineup which put me in the top 25% of that contest. Easy money if you do a little research and have a solid lineup for those contests.

+FF Rainmakers NBA contests are all about value picks for GPP. Last night I finished 50th out of 150k in the NBA 400k. I've also finished first a few times in some smaller contests. My strategy is to take a few guys that are guaranteed superstars and then find a few value plays. For example, right now Jeff Teague is struggling so Schroder is a great value at $3900 on Fanduel. Find the value and you can win a GPP. But you guys are totally right about how difficult it is. Winning a GPP with over 100k entries is a lot of skill and a lot of luck. Great video guys.
Playing the 50/50 is a trap if you don't know what your doing i.e. picking the wrong slate. Please pick the right slates for 50/50 I would target smaller slates for 50/50.. If you do a sunday only, 1pm only such a large variance and you could get crush. This calculation is based on if you had 100 entries or 100 lineups.. 55.55% to just break even and roughly 61.8% to just show profit. Just trying to help. Great video guys To calculate a “Break-Even Percentage” for a type of contest, use this calculation: - BE% = ($F/$PO)*#W BE% = Break-Even Percentage; $F=Entry Fee; $PO=Total Money Paid Out; #W=Number of Winners FanDuel 50/50 Games For $10, 100 Entrants - ($10 entry fee/$900 total cash paid out)*50 winners = 55.55% Break-Even Percentage
I haven't tried the 50 50s but i am doing good in the tournaments. Won a $1000 last week and i got a great chance at getting $400 tonight. Best advice i can give is pay attention to injuries
Also keep an eye just before contests go LIVE and swap out players designated as OUT or Questionable. I'm playing $5 every two days on dime and quarter games and haven't won anything above 60cents and it's just not worth spending more than 50cents a day the way the lineups perform terribly.
FF Rainmaker, I played DraftKing TNFootball and it was the 2doollar double up and top 500 would win. Why did I only win $4 . I finished 206 and with 145% . I just can't believe I didn't get more of the money. What my best play on average as a beginner player. Help please and I believe patience is a virtue, I've been getting my ass kicked after starting off good.
Your thoughts on these sights using bots to cheat real life players. I had a perfect lineup then all of a sudden other teams had similar lineup as mine and I ended losing out.

Christopher Rivera they most definitely have bots but I will say that you didn’t have the perfect lineup or you still would of won. I played a 4 dollar contest and I won 5k it was lucky yes also won 1k that’s my 2 highest but in 5k I finished first overall and nobody tied me. But I can show u a lineup last night I had perfect lineup minus 1 guy jaylen Brunson screwed me I won 40 bucks off 4 dollars placed in top 250 but not good enough yiu legit need to hit 350 or more to win big
@@emoney9295 Well of course you can't see people's lineup the whole time... In many games your can change your lineup around right before start of the game the players play.... This would be a huge advantage to beat people just ahead of you.

i've heard a lot of talk about building lineups that equal at least X points. For instance 150 pts. I have two questions regarding this. 1. are you basing that number off of the FPPG pts or are you basing it off of another scoring method? for example. I once heard that to determine the value of a player you take their price paid per thousand X xpts= what you need them to score to be worth what you spent.. i heard Xpts is 2.5 for fanduel and 3.5 for DK, for example. Phillip Rivers. (FPPG= 19.7) at 6,700 on DK you would take Price per thousand (6,700=6.7) X xpts for DK (3.5) which looks like 6.7x3.5=23.45 meaning I would need phillip rivers to score 23.45 pts to be worth the money I paid. If i add up all the FPPS on my lineup this week, I get a total FPPG of 127.8 pts, however if I use the formula above My lineup comes in at 175 pts. So to make the question shorter... How are you scoring your lineups to determine their potential value? Sorry for the long comment, I'd be willing to talk it out on the phone too if you had the time. I'm just super confused as to how people determine this value.
The FPPG is the average points that player has scored during the season, thats not necessarily a projection for the week ahead. People either get projections from other websites, or they look at the price, see the production needed to meet value, and determine whether that player has a realistic chance of hitting that projection.
Why did you guys not want to continue large GPPs. How long were you playing until you switched to cash ? Why is entering 100 lineups not better when there more of a chance to get the right combo - when you did your research ? That is what I’m looking to do
which contests are cash games and which contests are GPP games? i always play the 25 cent contests ...i put in $5 in a month..i play about 2 or 3 on monday night show downs and 1 or 2 on 2 or 3 on game slates,i dont play on the full game slates 12,13,14 games

Idk bout FD, but in DK it basically takes the same score to cash in a 50/50 as a GGP, I play both every week and it seems you need at least 155-160 fpts to cash in either. Too many Sharps everyone knows how to play
FD is lower scoring because its half point PPR and you play a kicker instead of a flex. Cash in 50/50s is usually ~120 (was only 90 week 12... but was 140 a few weeks back when all the chalk hit) and cash in tournaments is usually 150-160+ with the winner usually ~200-210

It's just like the investment pyramid. You're base is your bonds, heads up and double up, the mid part is your 3, 5, and 10 man leagues and the top is your gpps speculation. 50% of your daily wager in the low risk, 40% in mid range, and 10% in speculative. Hell I'd even go to 60%, 30-35% and 5-10%.

Kudos for the Video! Apologies for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you ever tried - Biyaliar Draft Kalidasa (do a search on google)? It is a good one of a kind guide for creating winning daily fantasy lineups for Draft Kings or Fanduel minus the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my buddy after a lifetime of fighting got great results with it.
I use a small bank roll playing multiple $1 and $2 50/50s with 2 different lineups weekly. Yeah I won't get rich quick but it's managing that bankroll like you guys suggested. It's worked pretty well for me. I play both DK and Fanduel. Good information thanks for sharing. Do you ever leave cash on the table with your 50/50 lineups?
Hi Michael. Thanks for following! Just to clarify, our recommendation is to not play tourneys which are also called GPPs. If you do play single entry ones then play those with the largest payouts. Cash plays are 50/50/ or leagues. Play those ones that have the larger pools like 100 people.
What do you guys think about going after single lineup max for cash, otherwise you are betting against yourself, in part. But for GPP, go after the multi-lineup as those are trickier for a winning lineup. BUT, only play if you can max out the entries. Don't play 2-3 lineups in a 50 lineup max.
I actually gave this some more thought. I would only do multiple lineups that you actually create. I'm thinking if you do some sort of lineup builder to create a mass number, you'll submit a lot of crap.
If you are betting a lot you want some variations in your 50/50 lineups. If someone gets hurt or has a really horrible day it minimizes the risk of having him in every lineup. (Week 11 McCoy breaking his thumb/AJ Green gets a zero etc..) I usually play 2-3 QBs 3-4 RBs and 5-6 WRs. Sometimes someone has such a good matchup/value and high ownership that it doesn't matter and I will run him in every lineup because if he does poorly at least he is 60-70% owned and you will be alright. Week 12 was a good example of why you want some variations. Tons of highly projected players were horrific and the cash line was only around 90 points. It's true that you are kind of betting against yourself but it makes it much more realistic to win every week (smaller amounts but consistently) instead of having big losses.

Good luck John! GPPs are great and we all want to win big, it's just much more difficult. However we do believe with small slates your chances are better in a GPP. We'll talk more about that when playoffs start.
+jeremy thomas small slates mean contests with fewer games involved. For example, there are still tournaments for a Sunday night/Monday night slate which is just two games.
I consider myself a good DFS player far from a professional.. But good tips and when I do have a bigger bank roll I’ll play more cash games but I always play 1-2 lines in a Gpp. So game 1 of clippers vs Denver I had pg13 at the MVP , Leonard,Murray,Morris Sr,Millsap & my mvp Plumlee he hit huge free throws huge rebounds a block cpl steals but he won it for me I ended up in a 4 way tie for 1st in the $20 dolla Gpp it was amazing night. Play single entry or 3 entry tournaments? Those are pretty big and can be lucrative. Plus gpps are more fun than grinding cash games.

I bet they are all rigged theres no way to see everyone's lineups the whole time. So they go in mid way and adjust for the better players.

bank roll management is the most important thing. i use the 90-10 rule. 90% cash and 10% gpp of my bank roll

Kudos for the Video! Apologies for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you ever tried - Biyaliar Draft Kalidasa (do a search on google)? It is a good one of a kind guide for creating winning daily fantasy lineups for Draft Kings or Fanduel minus the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my buddy after a lifetime of fighting got great results with it.
I use a small bank roll playing multiple $1 and $2 50/50s with 2 different lineups weekly. Yeah I won't get rich quick but it's managing that bankroll like you guys suggested. It's worked pretty well for me. I play both DK and Fanduel. Good information thanks for sharing. Do you ever leave cash on the table with your 50/50 lineups?
Do you mean have money left over on the salary cap? Sometimes, but if we do it's only a couple hundred at most.

What would you consider decent size tournys that are single entry only? Should I play it as a gpp or cash? Thanks, liked and subscribed.
Hi Michael. Thanks for following! Just to clarify, our recommendation is to not play tourneys which are also called GPPs. If you do play single entry ones then play those with the largest payouts. Cash plays are 50/50/ or leagues. Play those ones that have the larger pools like 100 people.
I try to play express games, or late night games as opposed to a MAIN tournament, for practice!

What do you guys think about going after single lineup max for cash, otherwise you are betting against yourself, in part. But for GPP, go after the multi-lineup as those are trickier for a winning lineup. BUT, only play if you can max out the entries. Don't play 2-3 lineups in a 50 lineup max.

I actually gave this some more thought. I would only do multiple lineups that you actually create. I'm thinking if you do some sort of lineup builder to create a mass number, you'll submit a lot of crap.
If you are betting a lot you want some variations in your 50/50 lineups. If someone gets hurt or has a really horrible day it minimizes the risk of having him in every lineup. (Week 11 McCoy breaking his thumb/AJ Green gets a zero etc..)
I usually play 2-3 QBs 3-4 RBs and 5-6 WRs. Sometimes someone has such a good matchup/value and high ownership that it doesn't matter and I will run him in every lineup because if he does poorly at least he is 60-70% owned and you will be alright.
Week 12 was a good example of why you want some variations. Tons of highly projected players were horrific and the cash line was only around 90 points.
It's true that you are kind of betting against yourself but it makes it much more realistic to win every week (smaller amounts but consistently) instead of having big losses.

Good luck John! GPPs are great and we all want to win big, it's just much more difficult. However we do believe with small slates your chances are better in a GPP. We'll talk more about that when playoffs start.

+jeremy thomas small slates mean contests with fewer games involved. For example, there are still tournaments for a Sunday night/Monday night slate which is just two games.

Which 50/50's do your guys prefer? Low entrant 50/50 like 10 players, or slightly larger GPP 50/50 (usually with 80 entrants or so)?

I really like the t2.5 points for 1000 spent… that was for fanduel, what is the cost per 1000 in DK or a lower cap?
150 / 50k ($50,000) = 3 point per $1000
tyler boyd (CIN) and Calvin Ridley (ATL) are huge values right now

When you pick a cheap QB, do you stack, or only stack high priced QB's?
GodmindNY NYC we typically don’t stack in a 50/50. That increases your risk if that team happens to have a bad game that day.

I consider myself a good DFS player far from a professional.. But good tips and when I do have a bigger bank roll I’ll play more cash games but I always play 1-2 lines in a Gpp. So game 1 of clippers vs Denver I had pg13 at the MVP , Leonard,Murray,Morris Sr,Millsap & my mvp Plumlee he hit huge free throws huge rebounds a block cpl steals but he won it for me I ended up in a 4 way tie for 1st in the $20 dolla Gpp it was amazing night. Might as well play heads up over 50/50. Win same amount of money on Draftkings! Only have to beat one person instead of half the field!
In my opinion. If you catch the $1 entrie for the $2k or $3k first place. Theres only about 15k people and thia year ive gotten 209th and 84th ive almosy always placed. I like the 50/50 idea..

Joe Sonner they can't flood single entry contests which is why we recommend the 50/50s
Sharks don't win all the time. Trust me. I beat them as much as they beat me.

the goal for cash games is 150 points. Tournaments are much higher.
