Sure, maybe I can make a video on that later. There's a lot to go over, but I can give you a couple here. A big one is half-committed attacks. For example, sending too few warriors to overtake a city. Unless you had a good reason, like bogging down an area or simply pressuring your opponent, then that would be a waste of stars. Another would be taking too long to develop. Without going too much into detail, you have to try to keep up with your opponents or they'll be tough to deal with when you meet them. Try to have a plan, like riders and roads or ships and custom houses. Think about the fastest way to get there based on your stars per turn, necessary units along the way, and city development. Only deviate from that plan when you have a very good reason. Don't dilly-dally. If you're fast enough, then you can catch your opponent off guard and take them down!
I think it is better to keep your entire gameplay footage, with no cuts/edits. beginners want to see every move. I think your audience would be beginners, no?.
The raw footage is usually about an hour long, so I cut it down to make it a bite sized chunk. I’ve considered releasing the full versions as separate videos though. It’s worth checking if there’s an audience for that. It would save me like 15 hours of editing per video lol.
@@itsnyy8079 You would want to watch like, an hour long live match? That's more of a "let's play" style. I can try that; it wouldn't hurt to experiment.
It comes with all of the tribes on Stream. It would be nice if it were free like mobile though. There isn’t really a difference between the two platforms besides the UI though. I just thought it would be more convenient for recording/editing, otherwise I never would have gotten it again.
Lol there are definitely some confounding variables. For example, I used to play my friend constantly and he was quite a bit better than me, so losing against him kept my elo down. But this was a new account because I switched to Steam, so I was most likely playing against actual new players. Thanks for watching!
good little warm up game, I like the polytopia series. Keep it up!
Will do, thanks for the encouragement!
good stuff. Also if u can, can you explain some of the common mistakes newer players make when facing off against you?

Thanks for watching! This was one of my earlier ones. I wouldn’t normally smurf, but I’d just switched to Steam.
