I have printers, hardware, and RAID down good. But man I know I'm not going into networking if I can help it. This stuff is rough on me.
@@truerubberlegs I felt the same. I went on to take Network + and it was heavy but once you digest it, it’s less “scary.”
Taking exam next week and man this last 10 videos took a minute to digest.
Same although my courses overwhelming me rn I’m taking time for a+
I just passed the core 1 exam earlier this day with a passing score of 727. I know, the score is not impressive. But as a person who did not complete grade school, has no educational degree, never got employed in my life, let alone the zero IT experience, has no friends, sitting behind a computer all day, I think I did a great job thanks to you Professor. The exam was tough though, the exam objectives was a huge help.

@@loneliness7186 it is possible, though it's probably good practice to (even broadly) use other sources and familiarize yourself with the subjects and hands-on experience (if applicable); which are points established by Prof. Messer in the introductory video of this series
How can you review the course after you take it as example
you take comtia +a and n+ and going to security +
how can you review on comtia +a by study it again ? watch videos again or what?

Thank you Professor. I passed my 1st part on Friday with 700 score. Could be better, but at least at first try w/o any prior professional support experience. Good luck everyone who's going to pass it. It's tricky but definitely solvable.
Are his videos by themselves enough to pass the exams?
@@jackmason4320 ive used his videos and only failed by 3 points (not sure how bad that is) and ive had no experience in the industry at all apart from building my gaming pc in high school

Passed my Core 1 exam, and if I can give any advice it's to expect very vague questions, read them very carefully and you have a lot of time.

Listening to this at 1.25 speed was the best thing ever. Did a few practice tests and I'm getting 70% without taking any notes, but I've learned so much. Going to drill down on the stuff I need to work on. It's a lot of ports to remember lol
I wanted to pop in and say I JUST passed my 1101 Exam with a score of 739 on my first attempt, and these videos were the biggest assistance to that. Thank you so much professor!!

@@helmi8712 I would find some practice tests to supplement with as well. I didn't use them myself but P. Messer has some practice tests. I would bet they're really good!
@@helmi8712if you're an info sponge, it's pretty comprehensive.
If you can't memorize everything in one go, it won't be and you should take some practice exams

On this day and year of Tuesday May 9th, 2023 I took my 1101 exam. I passed by the skin of my teeth with a 675/675. I went into the exam thinking I was gonna fail but I told myself I was gonna have fun with it. I was nervous. But I passed the first part. Now to get myself ready for the second part of this A+ certification!

I took my 1101 exam two days ago and passed on my first attempt allhumdallaha. I watched all of your videos and studied your notes. Just wanted to thank you for your help, now I will be moving on to studying for the 1102 exam.

Well I guess it's my turn to happily announce that I passed my Core 1 Exam with a 712!
I was able to do so through this video playlist and spending a bit of money on Professor Messer's practice exams. Some advice I can give is to study until you're confident about the contents of each exam objective. Most of the questions on the actual test are vague, so make sure you're confident about your knowledge as you will need to critically think through the questions. One thing I probably should have done is done more general research into topics instead of relying solely on Professor Messer's material (which was enough to allow me to pass though!).
Thanks Professor Messer for being such a good educator and best of luck to anyone taking the exam!

Just passed the exam! It was definitely odd wording so slow down and mark them for review, I had 70 questions and 5bq. Got 703 after 3 weeks of studies using this series and the exams he makes. Worth the money for those definitely the closest to the real thing!

Just finished all the material. Not gonna lie cutting it a little close as my exam is in 3 days. I will take these next couple of days to go over the notes and take the practice exams which I have just purchased
Update: I passed with a 706. I used Messers Training course(these videos) and i also paid for his practice exams and I did 2 of those. Other than that I just cross referenced with a different practice exam from a different source just in case. and i did a little bit of quizlet studying for the well known ports. The test was dificult but not in the sense that it was super complicated. It was difficult in how vague the questions were. Definetely tests you to make sure you have a rudimentary understanding of this all actually works. Dont let that dicourage you. I sincerely thought I was going to fail while taking the exam but I ended up passing. Im not a very good studier so chances are you will be fine

I PASSED THIS MORNING ~723/675 I CAN'T REMEMBER THE EXACT SCORE!!!! I watched ONLY your videos and used your practice exam(s). It was quite difficult but onto Core 2. It took me 5 weeks. Thank you, Professor!

1002 retire on October 2022. But 1102 the one you're taking will retire in 2025. So you have plenty of time, mate)

Passed today. This test was a lot easier to pass than the Sec+, you don't need a very high score to pass. I barely passed the Sec+ and I felt way more prepared for it, I passed this one easy peezy.
Yeah, sec+ is WAY harder, way more info too.
