"Good review..I just happen to see this today..as I was looking @ "A Class"..motorhomes for full time living..Just one thing I'd like to mention..I do like the idea of the "Drop down Bed".. You illustrated in the 1st motorhome..as it saves space & folds away during the day..but..how do you actually climb onto the bed??..- as its quite a height??.. For someone like myself that has a back siatic problem??.. Does the bed actually lower more than what you showed us??.. But in all fairness..I think the 1st motorhome is the better one as it does give you all the extra living space??..as the others 2. A lot of space is taken up with the. Twin beds & double or Queensize bed??..so not as much workable space ..but.. Thank you.. Great review..Cheer's.. Doc J..😊👍💥🎯

The twins can be made into one extra large bed it seems. Are they comfortable? I have at home a 2m * 2m bed which is basically 2 singles with an extra 2 inch thick mattress on top of the singles. It works perfectly. So is this sort of arrangement possible for these?

Hmm. There are 'vans with two drop-down beds on Fiat (Bürstner, Benimar) and on Ford (Bailey). If you want a rear lounge and two drop-down beds the only one I can think of is a Frankia A-class

Sorry that should say on Mercedes

Has anyone any idea why the wheels on these big campervan's are so small. From a side view, it looks weird.
Trucks, intercity coaches of similar sizes, have bigger wheels. 🤔

All class A motorhomes have that drop-down bed up front? That's odd, I've seen a number of class A's, and they didn't have that at all. In fact, that seems more like a modified version of the bed found in class C motorhomes. As for the garage, never mind the car Skinny Bob mentions, I don't think I could get the smaller of my bikes in there. A toy hauler could take both of my bikes, but even those would have a hard time with my rather small car.

My class A doesn't have a drop down bed in the front. Bear in mind that I am in the US and found this video while searching for class A motorhomes so I wouldn't really expect to see a 42' class A with an 11 liter diesel on a UK video. We don't have a toy hauler, but do drag a 27 foot enclosed car hauler for a midsize cross over and bikes. Our under coach storage is not really comparable to the 'garage' in this video.

@@rich7447 - so you can tour the world safe in the knowledge you are f***ing it up with your stupid 11 litre.

Over the last two years, tens of thousands across Europe have given up on hotels to live in their own comfortable space, away from the worries of Covid... Most never look back
