This video is basically the story of Laura Palmer from Twin Peaks. Actually, in Fire Walk With Me, Laura literally says: "Night time is my time", and the scene concludes with her saying "faster and faster".

I hope that Sky explores the sound and atmosphere and texture on this track for the upcoming LP. This is by far the best song on the album and really shows her creative potential.

sharnpdx funny, I think we're on the same wavelength. I said something quite similar responding to someone on her Red Lips vid.. although that song is fine, you know it's a 'Garbage' song.. it's been done before, and even though Shirley was involved in its production, which explains a LOT in the comparison, i'm afraid no one does it quite like Shirley. However, with this song, it sounds fresh and new.. to me anyway. Sky could genuinely carve her own niche with this style rather than try to emulate someone else.

I made a playlist quite some time ago inspired by the work of David Lynch and this was one of the first songs i added bc it has that Twin Peaks vibe to it. I only just watched Fire Walk With Me recently and discovered the chorus was almost identical to Laura and Donna's conversation. How wild! She's a fantastic artist, I hope you enjoy her music. I can't wait to see her in the revival!

3 months later, keeps being one of my favorite songs of all time
This album is literally the OK Computer of pop music. Every song is a perfect 10/10, it's a cohesive project and as a listener, time suspends itself while I enjoy the songs. I've never heard such a wide variety of influences being integrated in pop music. A single track can evoke Cyndi Lauper and the Velvet Underground while maintaining cohesiveness. It's an absolute crime against music that Sky has been kept from releasing new material. I'm convinced that her label signed an artist thinking they were getting a moldable personality and they've been hiding her out of spite.

very interesting concept. could've easily been exploitative and trashy but instead was very as someone else said tarrantino esque, the look, the tone just a very artistic music video for sure. i've been waiting for an official debut since 2009 and here we are almost 4-5 years later and she hasn't disappointed. now if only she can make up for the wait and release albums back to back would be nice ;)
