man im torn BC gross i feel is more fair with the dry period and it's been around so long etc, but where they lack is the net can get out of hand like the recent Ohio giant. Buckmasters is almost easier to get in the record book for people which saturates what truly is a trophy in my mind so we have to have consistency and then there's crossbows categories and all that stuff don't get me started haha. in the end its about the preservation of records to see what they are growing too not for ego so it will be interesting what happens in the future. i will say a buc with mass on the tines although not a factor in score is super cool and ik there's water displacement talks but idk.

I appreciate the shout out for sure! Learned a few things here, like the circumference measurement for 6 points and to keep an eye out for broken points at harvest. I had no idea they could be counted if recovered! Also, 398"?! What did they feed that thing? Other bucks??
Only an old guy like me would notice the vintage Old Pal minnow bucket by Woodstream that he was using for his tip jar. So awesome! My cousins and I used to say “Let’s go get our Old Pal and go fishin’ !!!”
Guts were in all night and frozen, scored before we gutted because we were waiting for the snow storm to come so we could take pictures! Thanks for watching!
