Is that a Verizon wallpaper great video about solving the freeze screen.
So, what's the difference between the process you showed in this clip and simply hitting the "Restart" button when you initially press and hold the power button? Aren't the "soft reset" and "restart" the same thing?
It's the same process, but if your screen is frozen or stuck then you have to use this manual process.
My phone screen has been staying very dark when I watch a video on UA-cam.
I have found that if I push on a certain place on the screen, it will light up, but I have to continue pressing it to keep it bright.
I have restarted the phone over and over. The problem keeps happening.
Do you have any suggestions?

You said 'Power Button and Volume Up button" then your next statement said 'Power Button and Volume Down". That's VERY confusing for a help video... 😞
