I went up there in August with my daughters and grandson and saw them! Kinda spooky dark though, lol.

My mother used to tell me that the lights in the mountains of eastern Europe were the restless spirits of people that died in battles long ago.

Sorry, but these are NOT the lights at Thomas Divide.I know bc I spend more time there than anyone and a friend and I saw over 120 unexplained lights *in the sky above* just last night.Hate to poo-poo anything, but you have to know what you are seeing there in order to see the real thing. Those are cars on 441 and at Newfound Gap and Clingman's Dome.A map will show you this.

I live 15 minutes away. You don't spend more time there than me.

@@XtremiTeez I'll gladly make a bet with you... I was up there about 3-6 hours a night almost every night for about 4 years - except for when the "main road" is closed in winter, and I logged almost all of my time on a recorder, especially after I met "the family" that lives there. I'll bet ya,even if you live right down the road at the Rez. There usually is no one else up there except for kids smoking weed and then leaving when I am there. That you? lol Other than that,i have made quite a few friends from the Rez up there... The bear hunters don't even spend more time than me up there, although less so now bc paranormal research work is everywhere in these mountains....The lights at TD moved up into the sky,by the way,and don't form on the ground as much as they used to.I watched them form a pyramid above the GSMNP just last winter from TD...Plus I have seen the exact same lights from multiple places, even from Mississippi. ...So what's the bet?

😂 imagine sitting there watching headlights all night. I hope that's not what those are though because I wanna see them. I've lived in Haywood all my life and never even heard of them...brown mtn yes but haven't heard of these. Where exactly is this at?
