Respect to you for persisting to fish in the worst waters around Britain. Irish prawn trawlers have raped the Irish Sea for years, dredging up all the small breeding stock and destroying habitats. Coach loads of north east “fishermen “ coming and taking tons of peeler crabs off Nethertown beach year after year, I see guys fishing in the marinas of Devon, spinning and float fishing for bass. When I return to Cumbria I think to myself what’s the point? Even the mackerel are in short supply.

Ill be doing it more often now pal . I had nowhere to put it so i thought ill try up the sleeve and it was perfect

It was a fun night . My left forearm cramped up that night , hard work pulling in them fish in that swell lol
