@@shaunashley6619 I know that you are joking. But it’s not funny. I suspect that you don’t know of any outrigger canoe paddlers that lost their lives particularly because they weren’t wearing a leash. I know of a local world class paddler who is dead mainly because he was not wearing a leash (he never wore a leash). Here in the PNW canoe paddlers wear leashes. Anyone who doesn’t is considered very foolish. A paddler can lose consciousness within 20 minutes of being in the cold PNW waters. Good health! Stay safe!
I paddled the Tai Tahi V1 in Dorney Lake at the 2022 IVF world championships. Paddled it for the first time in course familiarization and in two races. I like the Tai Tahi V1. It’s every bit as good as my ARE Marara V1 and my FAI 3X V1 canoes. I had no problem paddling the Tai Tahi V1 in fierce competition.
Good review! That surfing on the back of the boat added another element to the review as well.
You might consider using a leash, wearing a flotation device and having a bailer on board. Safety first and always. Good health!
You single handedly ruined the sport of outrigger canoe paddling.

You won't be wake surfing at London world's!!! What's it like doing a 500m sprint???

@@gondwanalon One question... how long is the hull? Still 7,2m like the FAI VA'A 3x?
