Just realized that human card is from Jack's duel with Carly. Go figure since Fortune Resonator is now a thing.
I once wished for Dark Scorpion retrains that also worked when the opponent used an effect on them to make them less of a sitting duck. I also asked for them to banish the cards face down to avoid setting up the GY. And somewhere in the universe, a finger on a monkey's pawn slowly dropped.
Before that Konami we'll put out an expensive Armor card set with an expensive new costume and all the Armor cards will be match winners that can't be used in official duels. While pumping out Red-Eyes Big Bang Battle Warrior which is a Marauding Captain for the archetype (Because Joey summoned it via Marauding Captain in his duel with Valon)
Watt enjoyer here. The new support truly made Watt Thunder Dragon very playable because of Watthydra being able to be summoned for free cuz of kyuki. Hydra is literally just a gold sarc when he inflicts battle damage. Of course this is only better if Colossus is allowed however the deck is fun regardless. Adding some bystials for Chaos Witch and Dis Pater is also just very nice to have with cobra and tuna being level 4s.
Oh Colossus could come back. With an errata that neuters it in the some way shape or form like some other dragons *COUGH* AFD FIREWALL & OG CHAOS EMPEROR DRAGON *COUGH*
@@Rabbitlord108 I mean it's not an activated effect problem. Don’t worry; Principug has to work with monsters who can’t be normal summoned, so the only Rafael card that it can do that with is Guardian Dreadscythe. If anything, he’s *Gate* Guardian support.
It would be great if Ice Barriers got a random XYZ monster that's a retrain of Royal Knight but he's crosses over into melodious support, and it's art is just Royal Knight jamming out on a Saxophone
12:56 OH MY *FUCKING* GOD I NEED THIS CARD RIGHT THE FUCK NOW. I WILL FIND A WAY TO USE IT ANY GODDAMN CHANCE I GET. LOOK AT THAT GOOD BOY RIGHT THERE.
What baffles me the most about Principug is that thematically it really has nothing to do with Guardians. It's not based on an anime card nor one of Raphael's memories, doesn't have the same visual style of the others and being the only piece of support, it's not even representative of a new aesthetic for the archetype. It's basically the same as Birdface in relation to Harpies. -Teo
Your chine at the end was angelic. But on the topic of Royal Ice Barriers, at this point I should just plan to shoehorn in Royal Knight as either a cannon fodder for villian to kill character or unintentionally comedic relief for a future sequal to a fanfic I am very slowly making.
I just want to let everyone know, since I haven't seen anyone else mention it, that Principug is not support for the equip Guardians It's effects only works on Guardian Dreadscythe It's Gate Guardian support
1:54 How do You pronounce that? 3:51 Color scheme of a warm hug 4:41 First Time the TCG outpunned the OCG 6:15 Which should be the Official Watt Field Spell 7:56 Ice Barrier is new Blue-Eyes/Red-Eyes? 9:57 Banishment 12:38 There you have your answer to "Will RATA review any new Signer Dragon support?" 12:48 Human-Type Card 12:54 And thus, RATA lost his sanity at the sight of "Guardian" support in the form of a Principug
Considering Standard aka Pendulum is the most expansive dimension by nature, I would have pinpointed this deck’s identity as a Fusion deck as a caveat, but since that’s clearly the most appropriate for Lunalights I would say give it a try. @@ZeothTheHedgehog I know. I just want to see a Resonator that can be treated as 2 Tuners for the Synchro summon of a Dark Dragon Synchro.
As the only person on Earth who wants Guardians to be good, seeing Principug has caused me to ascend in ways I never thought possible.
I spat my drink when i read "Guardian" in Principug. The Guardians are more dead than the Ghostricks that it caught me off-guard.
It's so random too. Like, of all thing, I never have expected a random cute dog with no guardian in it's name is a guardian support.
The sad part is, though, that it doesn't actually support any of the Guardians except Dreadscythe.
I once wished for Dark Scorpion retrains that also worked when the opponent used an effect on them to make them less of a sitting duck. I also asked for them to banish the cards face down to avoid setting up the GY. And somewhere in the universe, a finger on a monkey's pawn slowly dropped.
refrain a melodious songstress
couplet a melodious songstress
We need a deck built around Everyone's King.
Principug so baby
9:49 Best feeling about playing Ice Barrier is seeing all these cool dragons in extra deck and be proud that it belongs to the archetype
My friend is a Melodious devotee, so this put her over the moon.
I appreciate them as well, but more Watts is brings me true joy.
"melodious isnt gonna be tearing up the meta"
Oh silly silly rata
It's the fact that it's a stronger Rai-oh with protection so the only real errata would be to literally not have the effect or be a full droll and lock bird on the controller's side.
Either way it's honestly not as bad as people say. Even with the nemeses thunder monster it isn't that crazy. Just look at master duel. The card does nothing.
Melodious finally got some insane support, it’s so beautiful, finally, after seven years this deck has archetypal searchers!
Now lunalight and Windwitch and Lyrilusc remain need support To complete a set girls bracelet to be equal to Zarc
That solid snake intro was golden.
seeing Melodious get support was such a shock. I lost it when i saw the pendulum monsters, because as I had been saying for sometime, there was no reason for a deck focused on singing in that era with those abilities to not have scales. and now, they do. I still have to actually test those cards for some specifics though...
My mind now hurts after seeing that guardians of all things got new support.
Many thanks to you, funny cardboard review guy.
*I wonder where Abaki went?*
I LOVE how Everybody's King implies that canonically Jack Atlas is physically as strong as a Blue-Eyes, really puts into perspective wtf 3k atk actually means
Nouvelles player here, the french names are half the pain, the other half is half the cards not having "Nouvelles" or "Recipe" in their name.
Don’t worry; Principug has to work with monsters who can’t be normal summoned, so the only Rafael card that it can do that with is Guardian Dreadscythe.
If anything, he’s *Gate* Guardian support.
Guardians get a new card, but Vylons and Dark Scorpions get nothing? It's like they're trolling us at this point.
I hope Principug joins the Rank10 cinematic universe like Ojama Lime.
From the thumbnail alone I feel my sanity free falling.
Watts support?! In 2024?!
And then, when you think you reached peak insanity, BAM:
Guardian support. In the form of a pug.
I’d forgotten how much I LOVE your song at the end, God
Lancea has singlehandedly managed to drag Ice Barriers from the depths of Niflheim and make Raiho an actual threat, and for that I love him.
It would be great if Ice Barriers got a random XYZ monster that's a retrain of Royal Knight but he's crosses over into melodious support, and it's art is just Royal Knight jamming out on a Saxophone
Wait a minute
That melodious support sounds exactly like the amazoness support that came out.
2 pendulum monsters and a fusion monster
12:56 OH MY *FUCKING* GOD I NEED THIS CARD RIGHT THE FUCK NOW. I WILL FIND A WAY TO USE IT ANY GODDAMN CHANCE I GET. LOOK AT THAT GOOD BOY RIGHT THERE.
ua-cam.com/users/shortsUNwzwts2RUo?si=Or0eH8qWJTDkpJqp I FUCKING GOT HIM.
It'd make sense if we got a Ritual Dewloren, considering how many ritual decks spawned from the Ice Barriers lorewise.
Liked for the singing. That was beautiful!
So no REAL new Aliens? Just some Bullsh*t to tease me specifically? Cool, cool, thanks Konami...
12:55
A Pug CARD!!!!!!
DO NOT CARE WHAT IT SUPPORTS.
IT IS AN ADORABLE PUG!!!!!!!
ALSO, AN AWESOME NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I saw the picture of Georgius for one brief, shining moment I thought we had actually gotten Mist Valley support!
The codec call intro was legit the most subtle of reference i have ever watched
8:20 I mean, you may seem to hate it, but they gave Ice Barriers exactly what the structure deck should've been
Ok now make an Archetype Archive on Wind Witches so Konamis will give us some more of that support to report on
We’re already going somewhere with Bracelet Girls themes, perhaps some day.
@@runningoncylinders3829 Im really happy Rata is an Arc-V connoisseur so youre probably right
Be prepared for Speedroid Wacky Wand.
YES! THIS IS WHAT I BEEN WAITING FOR! MORE ICE BARRIER AND DOGGY!
If Rata could cover Super Idol with that angelic falsetto I’d be a happy duelist
New Ice Barrier support let's goooooo!
Wtf the singing at the end was so good.
4:32 I just noticed most of these monsters wear a similar bracelet to Zuzu's. Nice attention to detail
I just want to let everyone know, since I haven't seen anyone else mention it, that Principug is not support for the equip Guardians
It's effects only works on Guardian Dreadscythe
It's Gate Guardian support
Don't forget skull guardian
@@TV-qm8ob And Voiceless Voice by extension
This is a extremely well supported report.
The ribbon on the lower right of Etoile's card art combined with how busy it is made me think she's a dolphin girl at first.
I love these support reports. They are like free dlc for youtube.
Bacha is such a funny name. Kinda like this new batch’a support!
Wait, what you mean?
Still waiting for Beethovena
Love your stuff!
Ok the opening skit was awesome but man that Enya princypug skit was a fkin banger x)
What a world we live in, where Melodious is playable
Didn't think I'd wake up today and expect to hear Rata sing "Only Time" by Enya.... but here I am
12:55 this might be my favorite rata moment ever
This wasn't that insane
PRINCI-WHAT
I don't like how the "grand choir" looks like nonon from kill la kill
Nonon is at least musical themed and not nearly as terrifying as Nui. Labrynth seems like it could get one like her at some point.
1:54 How do You pronounce that? 3:51 Color scheme of a warm hug
4:41 First Time the TCG outpunned the OCG 6:15 Which should be the Official Watt Field Spell
7:56 Ice Barrier is new Blue-Eyes/Red-Eyes? 9:57 Banishment
12:38 There you have your answer to "Will RATA review any new Signer Dragon support?" 12:48 Human-Type Card
12:54 And thus, RATA lost his sanity at the sight of "Guardian" support in the form of a Principug
Pronounced
"Pa-tee-sie"
Ultrakill act 2?
Seriously, you got me hooked.
One of us is going to have to do Dragunities at some point.
And it better not be me.
I still want Melodious to receive Synchro and Xyz monsters, too.
Considering Standard aka Pendulum is the most expansive dimension by nature, I would have pinpointed this deck’s identity as a Fusion deck as a caveat, but since that’s clearly the most appropriate for Lunalights I would say give it a try. Melodious going the Odd-Eyes route of having each style would be very nice.
I'm just gonna go ahead and say that Principug is probably the support made for the new gate guardian archtype instead of the actual guardian
