Madagascar is a beautiful country but they are currently in dire straits. Those of us who are tourists should visit Madagascar now and develop their economy a little so that they can be free from food shortages
Correct, Madagascar isn't a country to be "explored or experienced." It's a country made up of 26 million people, 75% of whom live on $1.90 per day. Instead of spending thousands to explore it, try giving thousands to an NGO that is actually doing something to help the Malagasy.
