Yeah, I'm not saying that new Aes is by any means easy to break down but, compared to old Aes, this is a lot easier to digest. Check The Greatest Pac‐Man Victory in History out - pull up the lyrics so that LSD motif doesn't slip past you.

Those are fire, Freeze has been played in my playlist quite a lot lol. And Kodokushi is fire just like all of his "Spirit World Field Guide" album (Which he produced himself)
His "in case of emergency" from the Shrunk paperwork: "...in the daisies chasing birds". It was unexpected on such a brutally introspective album. The closest thing to a happy song previously was about a dog, "Ruby '81", which was still seconds away from a tragedy. He constantly bashes everything, himself worst of all, even in his funniest songs (like "TUFF", the next song), so to stay positive for a whole song, I think he had to focus on his kitten. Totally out of character. Which he correctly anticipated getting hated on by fans, with the last verse of "Molecules", the last track on the album, which was preemptive "fuck you" to those fans.
