We run the TV, refrigerator, freezer, internet, four lamps, and two computers with ours. Have used it multiple times, once for over a week. We've had ours since 2016. No issues.
I bought one new yesterday at Wal-Mart in Fort Wayne indiana originally priced at $484 + sales tax.. it was on sale for $242 + sales tax i love it havent put it to the test yet, but i will tonight!!
I finally caved and bought a generator. With this bs inflation, I'm paying about 550 at Walmart (north Ms preparing for another ice storm because shit infrastructure) after tax and not including interest from affirm. As someone who has worked on vehicles for most of their life, damn near any engine will last if you take care of it. Very insightful video, I appreciate you.
That’s why I do it for, to help people I’m not in it for the money. Honestly, I watch another channel who does off-road recovery and I bought a bunch of recovery gear so that I could help when people have gotten stuck in snow and ice. Planning on doing some of that today.
I got mine on black friday 2015. Pretty good gen. I run on propane. My son used it for a 2 day outage a few years ago. They ran it for an hour or so every 3 or 4 hours to keep the fridge cold. It went through that outage without using a full tank of propane. Not sure if they ever changed or not but these generators do not come with the neutral bonded to ground. It's easy enough to do if you know what you are doing. Neutral to ground bonding should be researched depending on what the generator will be connected to. As an example, if your house is wired for generator hook up you wouldn't need neutral to ground bonding because the house already has it.
It’s mine understanding people have use these things running them almost constantly on shutting them down long enough to refuel and they’ve lasted for years.
I’ll have to look that up. I’ve never run my dryer off it. Should be easy to find at a lowes or an rv store. The generator will need to be able to pull what ever wattage your dryer needs.
Turn the fuel to the opposition and it will empty the carburetor in bowl, then shut off on its own, but make sure you have all the plugs removed so it doesn’t spike any power.
Ours run and then die right after and there's oil and gas in it we paid $400 and a week after it started to have issues we only had the fridge on it and it just stalls constantly
@leatherneckprepper4477 I got 2 of them out of Walmart dumpster one new and one must have been a return air filter caught of fire looked like. I looked up the price for them a couple years ago

Did you have to pour that whole bottle of oil that it came with into when u got it?
If I remember correctly yes I did.
@@leatherneckprepper4477 ok thanks brother and great vid I just picked mine up today!!
A great reminder to check before digging. Learned that that hard way, oops!
Doh!!
What way does the gas filter goes which way is up
?
Hi. It says it runs for 10 hours; is that correct? I’m looking at purchasing this to run my telescope mount for 12 to 16 hours, will it hold up?
It’s mine understanding people have use these things running them almost constantly on shutting them down long enough to refuel and they’ve lasted for years.
Mine lasts 8hrs and then I have to refill

Mine has been running since 2am this morning...it's 8pm
What oil does this take?
10w-30
Tengo este mismo generador el prende sin problemas pero se escucha como acelerado quepodrá ser
Eso es interesante, el mío solo se pone realmente alto cuando hay mucha carga.
So can it run a washer and dryer same time?
I’ve not done that. I never intended to run the dryer off of it. I’d hang my clothes outside.
How loud is it??
Not to loud actually. I turn the muffler away from the house
What adapter do you recommend to run a 3 prong dryer?
I’ll have to look that up. I’ve never run my dryer off it. Should be easy to find at a lowes or an rv store. The generator will need to be able to pull what ever wattage your dryer needs.
I need one
How do I turn it off
Turn the fuel to the opposition and it will empty the carburetor in bowl, then shut off on its own, but make sure you have all the plugs removed so it doesn’t spike any power.
@@leatherneckprepper4477 thank you so much for that information man!
@@ClayWarren-mu3rm glad to help

Run some sea foam through it.
Same exact thing happened to me. Running the fridge on it during a power outtage.
Thise go for 440 dollars
Have gone up some
@leatherneckprepper4477 this was 2 or 3 years ago
@@mr.j5775 if I’m not mistaken, I got mine in 2017. It was also on sale at Sam’s Club.
