I wish the WNBA would've been around when I was growing up in the SFV. As a young player in HS, I looked up to Cheryl Miller. She was a BEAST. I can only imagine how strong of a figure she would've been in the women's pro game today.

I'm seeing more and more "legacy" basketball players who come from a former basketball player family or was close to someone who did. Steph and Cameron are both examples of it. Number of kids who are 1st gen athletes might dwindle unfortunately, but you can't reliably produce better talent than those who grew up around someone who played professionally before them.
