ALL NEW 2022 Terra Cotta Pot HACKS: ua-cam.com/video/NKPYsYzBK5M/v-deo.html
These are ME! I am the terra cotta queen!!
I can't believe I didn't think to make a gnome.
You need to use spray paint and seal. Acrylic paint peels.
Heading to your FB page to show you my elephants and giraffe I make
I love the tiered planters and the ability to customize them for the colors you need. Now, instead of trying to find new cushions for my outdoor furniture that will match my pots, I can make it easier and select a pattern that I love and paint the pots to coordinate!
Couple of tips when using terra-cotta. Always remember the terra-cotta absorbs water so your plant might need to be watered more often as the water is pulled from the soil into the terra-cotta. Also if you are painting the outside of the pot and you don’t seal the inside the water will soak into the terra-cotta overtime and ruin your paint job. I know this from experience. These are some great projects. I look forward to trying some of them.
How do you seal it? I want to try this but don't want to do it in vain
@@grassyshock Clean the flower pot by wiping away any dust and dirt with a slightly damp sponge or rag. Next, seal the flower pot by applying two coats of sealer-inside and out-using either Clay Pot Sealer or FolkArt Outdoor Sealer. Allow the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat. Once dry, then apply your decorative paint. Choose appropriate paint whether the pot will be used inside or outside.
@@junekazama7 thank you!
My absolute favorites: Coasters, lantern, macrame pot. The painted pots are so cute! Very simple sweet ideas that any one can do!!
Nobody loves you as much as gnomes & me . I used to not like them. But now I can't get enough of them. Making a list of what I need to make them. Thank you for your time on this video.
My favorite was the gnome! That is the perfect addition to the yard. Totally going to recreate it.
Thank you for sharing
Gnome and rainbow chimes are my favorites. Thank you
I couldn't pick out a favorite because I love them all! Your gnome looks so cute in your yard.😄
I really liked the plants in the tiered pots and the mini garden.
I find petunias to be one of the easiest flowers to grow. They need room to grow, do not over water, make sure to pull out all of the flowers that have died off. Beautiful ideas. Loved them. 😊
Thank you for the tips Denise!
Such a cool idea with the stacking flower pots 👍🏾👍🏾
Gardening tip: Petunias like a lot of sun and space to grow. I always give them fertilizer every 7-10 days to help them stay gorgeous ☺️
Also don’t water them too much or they will drown and/or attract snails and slugs. 💜

Once established cut them back around 4th of July. Also dead head them helps a lot.
Love the colors you used in these. I love love love this one with the pebbles and the glass with the tea candle. I can not help you keep anything alive, it will also end up dieing on me...lol, really love the simplicity of the saucer on the upside down pot. All off these are so inspiring!!!
Just seeing those colors makes me happy! I liked the coasters and small garden the most.
Loved them all. Will do the last one with my 4 grandsons for their Mother for Mother’s Day. Thx....
I love gnomes! So cute!!
Can’t wait to make a gnome and wind chime with my grandson! He will love painting pots! Love all the pretty bright colors you chose today! Thanks for the fun ideas!
This would be so fun as a family project!! Enjoy!
To Lynn Neinast:
My grandson is visiting us from Hawaii later in June! I’m going to have him make the gnome and wind-chime also. He’ll be able to carry them back to Hawaii with him for the garden. Thank you for the tip!
Toss up between the gnome and the wind chimes. These look like so much fun.
Loved the modge-podge planters. Will definitely try. Forget how beautiful and easy a technique it is to do.😍
Beautiful and cheerful colors in your diy's. I love it for this time of the year
They are all really good I liked the Gnome, wind chime, your pot man, the pot hanger and the tiered pot tray!
I love the Happiness is Memade tray...and the decoupage terra cotta pot. So smart!
Actually I liked the simple but effective idea of converting a pot and saucer to a candlestick. Very clever! Thank you for sharing.
Love the wind chime and the hanging pot holder. Im going to get more pots for the wind chime so my daughter and I can make a few and I'm trying the holder now. Thanks so much. The wheels are spinning of endless possibilities. 😊
I think the Gnome was my favorite. I will be making one for my son and his family. (they are gnome crazy) So Cute!
I really love the coloured hanging pots. I think I might make these!
The miniature garden with the river rocks is my favorite, TFS
The stacked pots is my favorite 😍
The terra-cotta wind chime and gnome are so adorable! Course I love all of the projects you made! Tip for flowers in pots. They need watering every day or nearly every day. Make sure they stay moist. You can use a natural fertilizer once a month. Honestly, I wouldn’t use miracle grow. I would use a soil that has manure in it instead.
Many blessings to you and your family! Thank you for sharing your colorful ideas! Perfect for spring and summer!
Love your projects!
I noticed that my local Walmart & Lowe's didn't have a great selection of terra cotta pots. Walmart actually didn't have any. 🤷🏼♀️ I LOVE decorating my pots too. Your able to give them your own touch.
Thank you for sharing these ideas with us. ❤
Boy you weren't kidding about the colorful projects you were working on❣ Love them all👏👏👏 No doubt we will start seeing those gnomes Everywhere! Awesome job, as always thank you for sharing❣💗🦋
Awesome job on all the pots.I love the gnomes pots.
Loved the fact you are using real plants. Too early here in Michigan to plant, but I am longing to garden.
Water with miracle grow to keep everything alive.
I loved the three tier pot planter!!🥰
Great ideas!! Thanks for sharing. I would never have thought of using these pots in so many ways. Thanks
I LOVE all of these as my 5 year old granddaughter loves crafting and these are perfect.. Thank you
Loved the gnome and the wind chime. All pretty
I really like them all but my favorite is the wind chime, it's so cute and I love the colors!
Thanks Tabatha!
Loved the terra-cotta coaster idea- the only thing I would do is add some cork or something on the bottom so they wouldn’t scratch the table/glass 😉.. I’m constantly amazed at all the DIYs you come up with👏👏👏
Plus something to sop up the water off the glasses.
Good idea on the cork
Love all of them.... my favorites are the gnome, stacked pots and the sticker pots...
Stumbled onto your video this morning, great NEW ideas for the terracotta pots and saucers. You gave me some wonderful ideas for the back porch! thank you.
These were all so fun and colorful for the spring and summer. Loved them all! Your petunia's will need a bigger pot at some point, lots of sunlight and a little plant food and they should thrive. Hugs, Brenda
The wind chimes are great! I picked up some to make a set for my kids school 😊
I loved all of the projects! Thanks for sharing!
Loved the colorful, tiered flower pot!!
I love the gnome but the windchime and I actually see how to make those hangers now. Great!
Wow! Hard to pick a favorite Shannon! These are all so creative! I may have to try the gnome to put in my garden. 💕 🪴
😍🌈💖
I Love using Terra Cotta pots. TFS ♥
The stacked planter was adorable! Also really like that planter trio!
The gnome was so darn cute. Thanks for all the ideas
🥰🥰🥰
I never knew what to do with my pots.. Thank you for your projects !! I am going to use these for inspiration.! Thank you. 🙂
The Gnome was my favorite, so cute🥰
Greetings from another terracotta addict! The coasters are wonderful and soooooo versatile, I use them upside down on top of my drink to keep bees and other bugs out! Windproof too! Thanks for all you do to inspire!
Love the colorful wind chime! 💜💙💚🧡💛
I couldn't pick a favorite because I like them all! You gave me a lot of ideas for my patio! I also don't have a green thumb 🙃 TYFS enjoy your evening 🌻
What a great way to get ready for spring! THANK YOU SO MUCH!🌿🌻🌹🦋😊
I love these 🥰 Thank you for sharing this ❤
Great ideas. Thank you. My patio will rock this summer.👍❤️
Loved them all but my favorite is how to make the hanger for them. Definitely going to book mark this video. Thanks for all the inspiration.
I am Susan Holloway too!
I loved all of the projects you made. Other than the terra cotta pots I have everything needed to make all the projects. I definitely want to make the wind chimes to hopefully chase away the magpies.
I love, love, love the gnome. Thank you for all of your great ideas!
Hi Shannon, All of your ideas 💡 with the terra-cotta pots were awesome 😎! I think my favorite was the lantern, I also want to try making the yarn 🧶 plant 🌱 hanger. Thanks for sharing your creativity😉, you are a Rockstar 💞
I loved all these ideas, but especially liked the plant hanger. Your instructions were so clear, I think I can do this!
There's that CoLoR! Love the gnome!!
I loved all these great project ideas I may just incorporate some in my garden this year
All cute, but loved the mini garden with the different size pots and rocks, the wind chimes and the little lantern with the vase.
Wish I could 👍🏻 this video 100 times! Love these crafts! Thank you! I’m excited to make the gnome! So stinking’ cute! Loved all the creations. Want to make them all!
These are all gorgeous! I'm so excited to buy pots! For the plant hanger, i think maybe putting a dab of hot glue or a glue dot might help hold the yarn in place while tying
That's what I was thinking too!!!
My thoughts exactly
Love your channel and creativity. I appreciate all you put into it ❤️
Love the colors you used and the keeping plants alive I don't know sorry I keep buying plants myself and just hope for the best!
Definitely doing the gnome in my gardens and the hanging pot for succulents in my window!!
You are spectacular with your ideas! So enjoy them.
You’re so sweet! Thanks Linda!
Love all the color! TFS ♥️
Just found you today. You have some GREAT ideas!! Thanks!! 👍
So excited to have you here! Welcome!
I've been stacking terra cot pots in different ways, for years. I paint things like flowers, bflies, & dots on them, & use as ornamentals in the garden. It's so fun & so many ways to stack them. Good gifts, too. Cheaper than buying garden ornaments. Just found your channel & am binge-watching. Thk u for more cool ideas!! Love your channel! 😊🌻🦋
I really liked the wind chimes and the coasters. Very good ideas. Thank you for inspiring me.
Tip: always go with a much larger planter than you think you need, the plants need the room and will grow to fill out the pot quicker! Wonderful ideas, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the info!
Love the gnome. And everything else. Best thing to keep your dirt damp not overly damp. But when the pedal start dying pull them off and they'll come back
I love every single one of these projects! When I was the coordinator of an elementary school before and after care program, we made many clay pot projects over the years...even a bird bath! I still see parents of those kids and they tell me that they're still putting out those projects when the season, etc. calls for decor. It makes me feel really good! I enjoyed this so much and I'm so happy you used versatile clay pots! I can't pick a favorite that you made! Oh..and the teachers used to call me the clay pot queen!
How awesome is that!!!!!! That means they were quality projects and lasted for them! SO COOL! I'm sure you could teach me a thing or two, lol!
@@TheDailyDIYer I don't know about that Shannon and I doubt it!
I love the wind chime and coasters!
Loved the Gnome! So dang cute!!💚🪴
I need to give him a name!
@@TheDailyDIYer LOL 😂 that’s funny, I always name everything too!!🤣😂 We’ve named all of our puppy’s toys! 😆🤷🏻♀️
Thanks! Love them! May Jesus continue to bless you and your family
Love ❤️ all your DIYS! I really liked all these great ideas for terra cotta pots. I also love 💕 your channel. Thanks for always sharing your creative ideas with us. Great job 👏
They were all so good and simple. The 2 that stick most in my mind is the gnome and chime. Definitely be making some of these 💕

Aw thank you 🥰
Girl you rock the terra cotta pots! I would love to see some for Christmas that would be awesome
Just wonderful. Almost got me in the mood to craft.
These are all so cool and awesome. Thank you for this outdoors' video.
🤗👏
Oh my goodness these are all so amazing! I think my favorite is the wind chimes. I really like all the colors used on all your projects. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
I loved the last one with the stickers and modge podge, oh and to keep your petunias blooming all summer just pick off the dead flowers I've grown them every year for 25yrs and dead heading the spent flowers is what i do
Thank you Cynthia!
Hi Shannon I loved all of your terracotta diys. I liked your gnome, the 3 tiered flower pot and the twine flower pot holder. Great job! It was a pleasure to watch. Thank you Take care
Love these ideas!! And, once again, we are looking forward to Spring!! 💜
Use miracle grow plant food once a month. You can use the granules in a box or, like I do and use the one you connect to the water hose. Works wonders for me. I do not have a green thumb but it’s amazing. Thank you Shannon for your ideas. You never disappoint. ❤️🥰
I love that you used color! So many DIY videos are black, white and tan.
WOW Shannon, what amazing ideas to use those pots, the gnome is so darn cute. I love the coasters, but also love all of the projects.
Love, love them all, but the last one is my favorite!!! TFS sweetie, be well 🤩🥰🤗
Thank you Madeline!
I love, love, love the coasters! And the planter with the 3 sizes stacked inside each other was cute too. All these ideas were awesome!
The gnome is adorable. =) (he's my favourite)
The wind chime is really pretty. =)
Those are all great projects. =)
Loved all these colorful fun pots! Would like to try some of these, but have to check my stash first as we are in a lockdown now in Ontario. Thanks for the ideas Shannon! 😀💗💐🌻🌼🌹🌸🌺
