OMG!.... you are a life saver , I purchased my selphy about a year ago, but hardly used it as I could never find a GOOD video to watch that explained it so well & easy to understand, now I can use my slephy. Thank you Thank you ❤❤❤
Oh I’m so happy my video was helpful for you 🥰
Omgosh! I've had this printer for years but you have just enlightened me! Wow! I love how you broke the 2 pics up. I've been trying to fig that one out for years! Thank you so much!
Oh thank you so much Dyane 🤗 I’m so happy this video was helpful to you. I was hoping by doing this video people will use their Selphy more often and learn a few new tricks 😁💕
I've had my Selphy printer since 2014. I've been using PicFrame for 3 years now. And it's only NOW - while watching this video - i realized how to print out those different photo sizes!! LOL! It's definitely one big AHA Moment for me! Thank you sooo much for making my life a lot simpler! Hehehe
LOL!! I totally understand 😁 I was determined to learn on this thing and figure out how to get my money’s worth lol. I’m so happy it was helpful to you 🤗💕

This is a great tutorial! I have watched a lot on printing small photos but yours was the best, clear explanation. Thank you so much for taking the time to share.
Oh my gosh thank you so much dear Laura 💕 I’m so happy this tutorial was helpful
You have been a GREAT HELP! I like how you also took it the next level with the 6x8. My printer was a friend hand-me-down without instructions,so I appreciate your detailed instructions. Thanks again. Happy Journaling!
Oh you are very welcome Patti ♥️ Like you I couldn’t find anybody sharing ideas on how to print different sizes with a Selphy. So of course I had to share. I’m always happy to share what I know 😁

Oh my gosh thank you so much 😁 I’m happy to help
I've had my selphy printer for 2+ years and still learned some tips from your video! I tried printing directly from the photo gallery on my phone and parts of the photo were cut off. I can't wait to start printing photos with white border from pic frame! Thanks!!
Ya I know how hard it is to get the hang of the Selphy printer. But as long as you use PicFrame you won’t have cropped photos anymore 😁💕
I've said it so many times but you are so clever!! I've had this same printer for years now and you have given me so many handy tips! Thank you so much!!
Oh my gosh thank you dear April 😘 I’m happy to help dear
I have learned SO much from you Canon Selphy tutorials. Thank you!
Oh thank you so much dear ♥️
Heda I just received my Canon Selphy!!!!!!!!!!!! I watched this video twice and I love it you are such a great teacher.. I also am TN addict and I have started a great memory keeping system for all the photos in my phone. Thank you so much for sharing! Oh yea I am a subscriber!!!!
Oh thank you so much dear 🤗 I’m so happy that I was able to help you out. I love this printer and I think you will really enjoy it as well.
Borders + not using the perforation = genius! It’s my first year doing project life and I’ve been struggling to come up with a photo printing process that isn’t laborious. I haven’t been using my Selphy because it’s not a true 4x6. Now I feel like I can switch to the Selphy. Thank you so much! 🙏🏻
Oh I’m so happy this was helpful Kate. Go get those photos printed and start working on your beautiful projects 🤗💕 Enjoy dear
Thank you so much for sharing . I just bought this printer and have been waiting for this tutorial. Beautifully explained. Made sure to take notes. Thank you for sharing your talent! 😘

Yay!! I’m happy to help Vivian. I hope you are enjoying your new Selphy. It really does help to know some tricks on how to print those smaller photos for your TN layouts 😁💕
Hello, Heba! I recently found your channel and can not adequately express how much I’ve enjoyed you, your style, and your videos. I look forward to all of your posts and have been exploring previous videos too. Most recently I watched your Canon Selphy tips and tricks. Life-changing!! Thank you!!

Oh I’m so happy it was helpful for you. I decided to share because I get asked about my borders all the time
As usual, you are a blooming legend. So much great information in this video, Heba. WHAT would we do without you???? xxxx
Oh my gosh thank you dear Lorraine 🤗 I am totally blushing right now 💕

You are very welcome Cathy 🤗 I’m happy to help out my crafty friends
It was so useful for me that I developed a great appreciation for this little gem of a printer. Thank you for showing the way.
It’s definitely a little gem. Thank you dear ♥️
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I don't know why it didn't click in my head to use 3:2 ratio with the "pic frame" app. I love "pic frame" and have used it forever, longer than I have had my printer. It's an older app but a diamond in the rough. I miss using my Canon selphy cp1200 and always struggled with "error print paper size". So, I stop using until today. My photos were edited in the wrong ratio this whole time causing the printer to act wonky. I'm sharing your video in the help forums. I haven't had a problem since making this small fix on the ratio when editing my photos. You've solved a bigger problem than you realize when using the printer. Yay! Thank you again!
I totally understand Nikki. I had that same problem but once you figure it out your photos turn out just like they should.
Thank you so much dear 🥰 I’m always happy to share what I know
Thanks for sharing I too have a Selphy. I will have to get my Selphy out and tried it out. Thanks so much for sharing.

Oh you are very welcome my friend 😘 I’m so happy I was able to help you out dear Joanne 💕
This was a Great video. Thank You so much. Most videos will go through all the instructions without showing the end results, that is so frustrating. Thanks for for including the end product. Great simple instructions.
Thank you so much dear 🤗 I’m so happy I was able to help. I totally understand it’s pretty frustrating and that’s one of the reasons I wanted to share the end results. It’s so much helpful to see it then to just talk about it.

Oh thank you so much 🥰
You are a genius...My frustration with the selphy printer was always that the photos weren’t true size. Not cutting on the perforation is a great idea, thank you 🙏
Oh thank so much Sue! The wrong size was getting under my skin and I had to find away around it 😁💕
Excellent tutorial. Thank you!

Great video! Thank you
Thank you dear ♥️
I know this was made over a year ago, but THANK YOU! I feel much better about finally pulling out my Selphy printer (yes, I waited too long to actually TRY it) and start using it! Now I need to go add some of those apps! :o)
Better late then never 😁 I’m happy that this video was helpful to you. I need to update it maybe record a new one and share 🥰
Thank you Heba!! So many helpful tips!! I use Picstitch app, it seems to work the same and its a free app...Can’t wait to try phonto app and journal on the picture...I have the same printer too and it works great still also...tfs 👍💕😎 Always learning something new from you!! 😉
Oh you are so very welcome dear Michelle 🤗 I know a lot of people use PicStictch. I’ve tried it before but I’m just more comfortable with PicFrame. But you’re right they work the same. Have fun printing 😁
Thanks for sharing. I learned a few things. I use a Canon Selphy but I used Pic Stitch. It's basically the same but it's not as easy to regulate the borders. I like that you showed us not to tear off the edges at the perforation. I'll try that. And if the perforation is on a white border then you REALLY can't see it. Excellent tutorial.
kimcreate1 you can change the thickness of the borders in pic stitch! or did you mean something else when you said regulate?
That;s what I meant. I DO change the border size in Pic Stitch, it just seems more like a guessing game. I never noticed any thing you can measure by and if I go away from the selphy for more than a week, I can't remember how to make the border the same as last time. Hey! I just got an idea. I could take a picture if the border width I chose.
Yes exactly I never had a problem with it being obvious. Sometimes we just have to make things work for our crafty needs lol!!
Life changing! I’m so glad you shared this. I’ve had my Selfy Printer for about 3 months and still trying to figure out the printing. I knew about pic frame but the other 2 apps I didn’t. I stopped the video and added the apps and followed along with you ( stopping as needed) . I can not tell you how easy you made this. That is why I Love UA-cam and you! You make it easy and I can watch you on my timetable and still feel like I’m right there with you. Thank you so very much!
Oh my gosh thank you dear Wendy 🤗 That makes me so happy to know that this video was helpful. I love sharing what I know with my crafty friends 😘💕
The best Aha-Moment ever 😂: Heba don‘t use the perforation.... i think this was the most Important information for all selphi user... thank you
Lol!! Thank you dear 😁 sometimes you just have to break the rules 😂
i liked and subscribed and commented and all that good staff.
Thank you so much ♥️
Fabulous video! Thanx for sharing your tips. I have a selphy exactly like yours and stoped using it because of the way it “cropped” photos cutting off pieces of the pictures! Hoping these apps and using the borders will help with that issue.
I hope it works out for you. I was kinda bummed because a few weeks ago my printer stopped working so I had to buy a new one. It was good to me and lasted a long time. But now I’m a new owner of the upgraded Selphy printer and I love it even more then my old one 😊
Wow.....48 dislikes. Why? Another great video. I love your pages and videos. I always learn so much! Thanks
LOL!! It’s ok you can’t win them all 😁 Thank you so much Cheryl. I’m so happy this video was helpful to you 🥰
Great tutorial, I'm glad people are willing to share helpful tips like this! I've seen you print a 4x6 photo before that had 2 pictures and then a paragraph of journaling on the side (not on the actual picture but in a blank white space beside picture). Maybe one day you could do a tutorial how to do that?? :) thanks again for teaching...
I would love to share. But to help you out, I use PicFrame and fill one side of my collage with a picture and leave the other side blank. When you save it it will save the blank side white. All you have to do is add your journaling with Phonto in the white space 😁 It’s actually very simple.
@@MyLittleJournal
OMG!! I should've thought of that! I'm gonna go try that right now! Thank you!!!
Thanks!
This was such a useful video Heba! Thank you so much. There’s one more tip I would need to get. Is it possible to print or somehow put together a whole page photo for a standard TN using Selphy? I sooooo much love your spreads with whole page photos and would like to try it out for myself😍😍😍
Thank you Katrina I’m so happy it was helpful 😊 I’ve tried it several times but it just doesn’t look right. First because the photo would be cut in half. Which isn’t a big deal because you can puzzle them together but because the Selphy prints not a true 4x6 you never get the 4x8 size if that makes since. I’m gonna keep trying and if it works I will definitely share
Thank you thank you helped alot
You are very welcome 💕
Thanks for this. I've also wondered how you print the album covers, book covers, etc., that you use in your Currently spreads. Ta!
You are very welcome June!! I’m happy to help 🤗
Thank you so much!!!
♥️
Awesome Video I am going to be Purchasing the Cannon Selphy Printer, I have an Android Phone so hope it works similar to your Video
Oh I think it still works. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 Thank you Jenny ♥️
I learned so much and I'm very very appreciative! I have several Canon Selphy printers that won't work with my updated Mac OS systems. I'm hoping I can maybe try the app and see if I can still use them. Great Thanks for your help.
Oh I’m so happy to help. I hope you get to create some fun collages with your Selphy printer 💕
Thank you so much , I had been wondering how those bigger photos got printed for the pocket TN .😊
Thank you Judy for watching 🤗 I’m so happy it was helpful for ya
This is great! I was having trouble with the photo sizes. But: when you save on each of those apps, does that duplicate the photos or does it replace it with the new changes? Thanks! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
No it duplicates the photo. So you will always have the original which I love. You are very welcome ♥️
I have been trying to decide on a portable printer. Between the Sprochet and the Selphy. It looks like the Selphy is more versatile. But, to be truly portable you need the battery pack?
@@judyanderson7489 or get something like halo bolt charging block. I have one to jumpstart car and charge phones. It also has a built in plug so it could run this. I charge my laptop sometimes on it as well. About $100 much cheaper than the battery and has a long battery life.
Just watched this.... so so helpful ! Seem to be a bit obsessed watching all your videos at the moment. Just love your creative style! Just a quick question do you print your own 4 x 8 for travelers notebooks? :-)
Oh my thank you so much dear 💕 I actually get that size printed at Persnickety Prints. You can’t print a 4x8 with a canon Selphy 🙁
Thank u so much!
You are very welcome 💕
Hi I have the canon printer also thank you for sharing💕👍🏻
You are very welcome Barbara 😘
Thank you!!!
You are very welcome 🤗💕
Just learning how to use my Selphy and I was cutting heads off ! Thank you so much , this was so helpful😀 I scrapbook and use project life
You are so very welcome 🤗 I’m so happy it was helpful. It took a lot of trial and error to get it right 😁
I’m just bought my canon selphy printer 1300. I download to my IPad & all I can do right now is just one large size picture. I’d like to learn the multiple pictures in on one sheet. How do I start with it. Do I have to get the Canon APP. Pls. Let me know, thanks.
You need to use the PicFrame app to do collages. Just like you did with the large picture but for a collage use the multiple frame. I hope that makes sense 🤗
Thank you so much for all the great tips. I do have a question. When you stamp on your photos do you dry the ink or let it air dry? Since the Selphy paper has that waterproof layer whenever I stamp my ink smears unless I use stazon. I notice you use several types of inks and it always looks so nice. Thanks!
You are very welcome 🤗 Yes I always air dry my pictures when I stamp on them. If you notice I lay my pictures on my page protector and don’t slip them in on video. I actually leave them out as long as I can. If I am in a rush I will use my heat gun. Selphy paper can take it and won’t melt. I hope this was helpful 💕
Hi Heba! I loved my Selphy for so long, but when I recently pulled it out I’m getting an error signal saying my ink cartridge is the wrong size. Have you ever had this problem or heard anyone else have it? I’ve had my printer for at least 5 years so it may just be time to replace! Love your newer and older videos... thanks for always inspiring me.
Oh I don’t believe I’ve ever had something like that happen to me. I would call the help support at Canon they might be able to help you with that. My Selphy lasted a long time I just recently bought a new one because my older one just stopped working 😔 I would call before getting a new one maybe it’s just a few buttons and you can get to work again. Good luck dear ♥️
Great video
Thank you a million 💕
This is fantastic!!!! I have also had my printer for a few years and not really made the most of it.......but now I know how. Thank you so much for sharing!!! :)
Oh you are very welcome 🤗💕
I have this printer and I'm so excited to use it now because of you. Where do you prefer to purchase your photo paper. It can sure get expensive
Oh you are gonna love it! I buy mine from amazon or staples and staples will match prices with amazon 😁
Thank you so much for the wonderful tips, I about to become a new Selphy owner and can’t wait. Do you have any advice about printing black and white photos?
Thank you dear 🥰 I use PicTapGo to filter my photos and they have a wonderful B&W filter. Totally recommend that app 😁
Thanks for sharing. I was hoping you were going to do a tutorial on your Polaroid Zip. I'd love to see how you get such clear pictures on it.
Oh my gosh I totally forgot about the zip. But I do want you to know Wendy that I use the same app PicTapGo to brighten my photos. I even make them brighter then I would when printing with my Selphy. So my photos would come out more clearer with the zip printer, if that makes any sense.
It does. I actually use Snapseed to adjust my photos, but I still can't seem to find a good balance. They are still too dark on my Zip. I've noticed also that my pics on my Canon Selphy are turning out darker than when I first started using it. Ugh!
That’s so weird I wonder why that’s happening. The zip does print photos darker then they really are. I guess because it doesn’t work with Ink. But mine usually works when I brighten my photos before printing.
Hi, love that you have done this, it's fab for complete beginner like me. I would like to fully utilise the paper that I use(I hate waste) on whatever the size and I'm finding it difficult to ensure that this is possible when I do collages can you help please? I hope you I make sense...
Thank you so much. Maybe you should create your collages without a boarder. That might help. But I think collages is a great way to not waste your photo paper 😁💕
