As carno, I find it very easy to go to center, find bodies, get organs and all that jazz, and when perfect diet, sit in the forest near center and wait 20 minutes.

just ridiculous how little the game itself tells you about what the Hud elements mean, what calls do and so on ... seems every developer nowadays doesnt give a f about usability or actually loves to frustrate newcomers with making it a chore to search for answers ... not long into the game i already think about kicking it out my library again, because I am fin forced to google for guides and videos which explain the most basic things because the game just doesnt.

Hello. I followed your video (thank you btw). But when I launch the game it just keeps popping back to "play". Runs for a few seconds peeps even see me online then goes back to "play"?
Had 1 playsession with this game so far and a little irritated by it already. Walked around for 1 1/2 hours and didn't see anything, nothing on scent tracking and logged out on the verge of starving to death. Not very exciting

Is this Evirma better than Legacy for new players? I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to server(was on legacy I guess). The one I picked I died several times as a juvenile. @@TheRealByte Nv, i think it's because I got a new PC on the same day, so it still needed to adjust to it or sm. Now it works and going from 4 fps to 50-70 fps. thx for trying to help tho

Do you know if there is an area you can spawn at where the water is very close? My only options are Northeast and Water Access. How do I get all the ones you showed in the video (Center, South, Southeast, etc)?

I have no played this game much, I've only just recently gotten it on sale. I enjoy it well enough, I tried the lil croc the other day and was picked up by a bigger croc who helped me reach near adulthood by the time I got off and I had a blast. It's more fun than I imagined, and it can be spooky.

Seriously love the feel and look of the game but apart from surviving to grow and killing all the time, is there any other meaningful purpose to the game?
I really like playing carno there because there is goat,deer and boar ai there plus loads of places to hide. Omni is also good to play there cuz of the rabbits😀
About it being good... The mark system they have for bans is done really badly and I was taking some crap abt it in the server and got permanently banned so that happened. I was top 30 on mee6 bot because I talked a ton in the community but the admins really aren't great and I wouldn't recommend anymore even though the community is still pretty good
@@TheRealByte the staff are all volunteer but I think since they got lucky to be on such a large server they feel they are super important and decided to ban me and a couple others when we were talking about how bad their mark and ban system is even though everyone agrees it's horrible xD. Just going to play more official now I guess

A year late ik, but im so ass at pvp in evrima that if i play lets say a carno, i only hunt when i am in a group, when i play solo i only scavenge. im so bad i lost my adult cera to a juvie omni. this guide helped very much tho
If you get the directx 12 popup from launching evrima, and if you're at windows 10 check your system version, should be 22h2 (checked at computer settings)

Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument." and I have no idea what that is or means. Are you and someone else able to help?
have you switched your game to evrima like I showed at the start of the video? and also the game has had an update so it might have been removed I don't know as I haven't played it
@@TheRealByte figured it out, I was on an unofficial server that had NE disabled lol. Official servers have it but all the NA servers are full. Playing with the oi bruvs now.

@@TheRealByte Recently I learned south has all 3 diets.
Goat is S and near mountains
Boar is 3 dots
Deer is 2 lines.

There’s a problem with servers it says that the ping is like 20-60 but when I log on I get hit with a ping of 300 and one time it went up to 510

check your settings you mad have a setting on that makes you move with your mouse.

I think because this tutorial was before the update thats how I found food there. Also AI spawning can be luck sometimes sadly.

4:30 the deinosuchus one is a myth. Holding e does not help you when you are being grabbed by a croc.
My mistake then.. this Is what happens when the devs dont give in game text telling you to press e to buck

you need to stay still while pressing the "sniffin button" hahah thats a good one. also you may not be near food so that could very well be it.

you can still hold e while on the move as a utah you dont have to stand still :) I am super excited for 6.5 release

hahah one thing about evrima. there is no public chat you can only speak to the same species of dinos if you are nearby some.

you can raise babies which will be other players but thats about it

What about South? It has a lot of ai for carnivores and a mud pool to stop your bleed. Plus there is water 2

Southeast is also really good for crocs.
My Cerato is just 'wounded' and it shows nothing else. I'm not bleeding out either, so how do I fix this? I've tried resting and sleeping as well.

Islander is the main server I play on but there are a ton of people that just join and ignore all the rules instead of joining the discord.
