This episode had people trying to explain the origins of "based" to a Black man and then also trying to talk over him about cop violence. Jarvis has the kind of patience that one can only get except by the infinite patience one gets from dealing with white people. Much respect.
My favorite part of this video was when Jarvis was saying people in chat were talking about Kurtis making a video about a similar show to this and someone in chat said “Jarvis, Kurtis died 10 years ago.”
Genuinely appreciate that Jarvis pauses the video so much. It's really hard to understand when people talk over videos and you can miss great moments that way. I think it's ridiculous that anyone would give him flack for doing something that makes the stream more watchable and accessible.
I'm not a lawyer, but I'm an administrator for a public defender's office and NEVER SAY ANYTHING WITHOUT A LAWYER. we just got a case dismissed because a cop kept questioning someone after they asked for an attorney and that's ILLEGAL!!!
The previous episode "What if there was a ghost laptop?". This episode "Our society is plagued by discrimination and corruption that often leads to violence".
They definitely told the chalkboard actors that the scream was gonna be a lot scarier. That second one sounded like me when someone tries to wake me up early.
I can't get over how the set up for at least half of these stories so far has been "mysterious force/ghost protects people mysteriously..." the cop one from this episode was just supernatural dhar mann. cop uses unethical interrogation methods and INSTANTLY regrets it! it's just the weirdest inspiration porn
With the pharmacy story- I assumed that they didn't know 10mg would be too much off the top of their heads, but after finding out she was only prescribed 1/10 of the dose they were about to give her, they said it would kill her because she would be taking ten times the amount she should have been taking and would therefore overdose
Whoever said Jarvis was like an older sister’s cool boyfriend deserves a cookie bc that’s too perfect.

i love that whenever something is introduced to a story, chat immediately goes "GHOST ___!" it never gets old lmao

I appreciate the rewinding when a conversation or bit is going on because I also get distracted by said conversation. Thanks for your content Jarvis!
“The only explanations are unexplainable” has been bugging me since episode one. Thank you for pointing out how absurd that sounds.
Chat, if Jarvis were a worm would you still approve of him dating your older sister?
"we've got one black guy and he is going to be holding a knife the entire time."
the "squeeze this, rub this" line was just OUT of pocket
Today I gained so much respect for Jarvis, just look at him drinking out of a paper cup
It's always "they've been dead for 30 years!" but I want an oddly specific one that like "they've been dead for 27 and 3/8 years!"

"For those of us who grew up in another generation"
They really did the horror sting for the line "I'm good at math."
I've cracked the code.
