Nice Video just what I need. Startet today after years of not playing a fighter and will master it again! Thanks for the Combos. 0:00 Definition 0:04 Intro
the single low hit confirm can be optimized further by sneaking in an extra jB before the divekick and then adding in AA after the divekick. The whole route looks like 2A>AAB>jC>jB>jS>AABSS>jC>jS. It's also worth noting that the BSS>jS ender is harder to pull off on thinner characters (so far enchantress, dragon knight, and swift master ive found are hard to do this on)
I never played a fighting game before and am just wondering. Are these optimal combos? And what else do I need to learn before i can jump into ranked? I'm guessing a lot but would appreciate any advice.
I wouldnt say they are optimal. I also would say you don't need to worry about optimal if you are just learning fighting games in general. I wouldn't be scared of ranked either. You need to learn your character against others, when to hit buttons when not, how your buttons feel and act. That's the most important. What you'll notice is eventually you'll say I get alot of hits but never win. That's when you need a combo for the stray hits you land. A lot of fighting games is just getting comfortable with the pace and speed of decision making. Nothing can really prep you for it other than playing. My one piece of advice is don't mash buttons. Find situations you lose in. Go to training mode record the dummy hitting the button or special your opponents use and figure out what you can do. Take it slow and have fun
The last one wont be ever possible do not learn it because the mp regen = the amount of white damage during the conversion, vs some ppl u wont able to keep this amount of white damage ^^
I just did the last one for fun. Also I only use 1 j.MP worth of MP...you don't need all that white dmg. You just literally need 1 Mp to go into exhaustion and the combo still works
Oh yeh I thought this was the ghostblade video, yeh the last combo has no notations because it was just there for the LAWLS..I like to put fun, non-optimal combos in there just for kicks
The notation is universal for all platforms. It's explained in the first 5 seconds of the video. It's a very common notation used for these types of games
Hahaha u must be new to fighting games. That’s the universal notations. It’s so anyone can understand what he’s pressing regardless of what console ur on. Not to mention the people using an arcade stick.
MS is the in-game button for special attacks. Strings like AAB. Or BS just mean there is no change of direction so to compress the string it's written that way
@@RioTheGreat100 I am new and find this difficult to understand. I'm not ashamed to be new but there is a option to display input in game I think it would be very helpful. I know the fighting game community is determined to push away newcomers and all but your attitude isn't appreciated

I'm new to fighting games and seeing how to do these combos is very helpful! Thank you!
Appreciate the time to help learn man!
Thanks
There's a small mistake in the 367 dmg mid screen combo. It starts with B, not S.
My b
That's why we call you Boss-man. Thanks amigo~
Appreciate you dude
Thanks, she's awesome
You're welcome!
The timing is so fucking tight
If you think Striker is bad Dragon Knight was worse with the dashing :(
Very interesting, time to practice
The BNB low starter no meter (233dmg) dont work if you dont start it very close to the enemy so its not usefeul

@@CharminUltra Thanks for the in depth answer, it helps a lot to get started :)
If you're taking requests Kunoichi would be great.
Lucky for you she's the one im working on now
How do you jump cancel?
Just hold up after a jump cancelable move
Humbly requesting Dragon Knight
You must be very lucky

Training mode doesn't really allow you to set yourself at 30% hours with 5 to 10% of white health
Ahahah the Last one is fun but with a full white bar u can os too ( i tried it) and yeah its sad that we can put the white bar like we want :-(
And its not like the ghostblade who can do around 70 or 80% whitout mp :D
Oh yeh I thought this was the ghostblade video, yeh the last combo has no notations because it was just there for the LAWLS..I like to put fun, non-optimal combos in there just for kicks
Can some one explain these in playstion terms
The notation is universal for all platforms. It's explained in the first 5 seconds of the video. It's a very common notation used for these types of games
Square- A
Triangle - B
Circle- S
X- MS
Why not use button inputs in game instead of this disorganized crap?

As ayo said. 99% of people prefer this
