@@asifjaved7672 Go to Control panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound -> Recording. Then right click your microphone device, select Properties. Then go to the advanced tab. There you can change the default format. Set to 2 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hz for best quality. I hope this helps.
You can also use it as an external microphone with your camera phone...You will find the audio quality way better than from the phone internal microphone. All you need is a small O.T.G. cable and then download a free app. called Open Camera to record...

That has only become a problem in Windows 10...The above setting is too high...You can see from the audio file that the audio is going over the zero DB mark and that would indicate clipping. Never never go above 0 DB...I usually set it at around 80 to 85 mark...(You can always increase it in post editing but you can never repair audio if it's clipping...)

Just a tip or two...Keep the microphone away from your computer when recording...placing the microphone on a soft surface like a rolled up towel or cushion stops feed back....Also you can use this microphone to record directly to your phone by using a small o.t.g. cable & using a camera app called open camera.

I didn't find this option in mic properties but i changed it in audacity, before was on 44100 hz and 32-bit PCM now i set it to 48000 hz and 16 PCM but my voice is still clearer in my headphones than recording
Im a bit dissapointed in this microphone. IT S RECORDING BAD NOISE in the background. After only a few months it s started malfunctioning....Makes really bad background noise and the computers cant even recognise it anymore...I should ve gone for the Yeti instead :(

Yes just plug a headphone to the audio socket of the mic, so you can monitor your voice. Speakers, yes but there will be chances of distraction.

I find that 96% peaks way too much for singing higher and louder notes :/
May be in singing, in voice overs it dose great job. You can try between 90-95 for singing and keep at least 10 inches distance between mic and mouth.

Yes you can use skype or other chat services , or you can setup your mic with your PC speakers to amplify your voice :)

Change the angle of the mic, a little bit to your chicks. Do not point the mic directly to mouth, for me it always works.
