Good video. I'm not sure if I'm sold on rinse aid because I just don't see a problem with our finished dishes. (They come out perfect) I've heard that it depends on the water. The reason why they tell you not to pre rinse dishes is for water conservation. If you want to conserve water then don't water your lawn. Repair guys have told me that they see problems all the time caused by excessive food debris.
Absolutely, it's for all the cutlery etc. It gives you more space in the bottom rack for the large plates. Older dishwashers have the cutlery holder in the bottom rack. Hope that helps👍🏻
@@MeMorebyKellyNahama I bought a dishwasher last sunday with third rack that I can remove if I need extra space and there is a cutlry bascket too and Iam so happy with it . thanks alot 😊
a couple of things I would add to this fantastic video. 1 un-loading a dishwasher: start from the bottom work your way to the top rack, ensuring any wet items don't flow onto the racks below it. 2. Utensils should face upwards except knives or sharp items. Older dishwashers have a hard enough time cleaning between the trays, keeping them straight up will ensure they get cleaned off if someone decides to NOT clean it prior to placing it in the dishwasher. This is especially the case on any apartment dwellers :)
All of the technologically advanced dishwashers do not require any rinsing of the dishes. The dishwasher soap powder is designed to eat away at the dirt and it requires dirt for that. Which is why you only need to remove the waste and put it inside right away. Even if it sits and dries away , the soap efficiently cleans any dirt ... so technically if you rinse the vessels you rather go one step ahead and wash it , coz otherwise you are going to ruin the vessels in the dishwasher without dirt to clean.
@@MeMorebyKellyNahama it is advised to NOT prerinse because soaps are very aggressive "looking" for dirt. Without of it they attack glass, dishes and interior of machine. No joking.
I use powder dishsoap that are as much as a few decades old. I like old stuff. I purchase old boxes of soap from ebay. I hate anything new especially this new dishwasher. I had to replace my over 20 year old dishwasher and it has been a nightmare with a new one. I can't see how to know when my rinse agent despenser is full. A stupidbwindow or simething thatbtells me nothing.
Don't rinse the dishes. Save water. Wipe them off with a paper towel. You can use the paper towel for quite a few dishes, not one each. Dishwashers have a pre rinse/ pre wash built in to them for this purpose any way. That pre rinse cycle works better if you wipe them off first. If you add one teaspoon of liquid dish soap to the inside surface of the door, the prewash will be much more effective. Don't use more than one teaspoon or you will get an oversuds mess/ error code.
Harmony Joanna hi Harmony, I think the best thing for you is to try a few cycles without it and then try some with it. You can decide if your glasses look better with rinse aid or without. Good luck darling 🤗
Detergents are actually made to cling to food to work properly. If there's none there it can start to eat away at your dishes Large pieces should be removed and scraped off but rinsing is just a waste if water
Don't pre-rinse everything because the detergent will start to damage your dishes. Just scrape off excess food if necessary. I found that my dishwasher only has an issue with baked bean residue (strangely) so I only pre-rinse those plates and pot I used to cook it in.
Hello water filter, my name is Craig. Does not reply. Well I tried to get to know him but he’s not interested. So I’m still scared of him, the silence is sickening

Good point. Thanks for that 🙏
do you think the third rack is useful? I want to buy one next days .

Thank you. Good tips. I do start from the bottom up but did I forget to share it? 🙃

Hogwash.
@@gloriamcmillian3743 your rinse aid is enough and more when the liquid starts overflowing.
Noticing rust like spots on few steel utensils. Any idea why & how to prevent it from happening??
You can prevent it by hand washing them.
Interesting video but here in Canada we are told not to rinse dishes before loading.
I know so many people don’t. I will try tonight 🙏

Never heard of dishwasher salt
me neither!!!
neither have I!
Haven’t heard of it either. What is it??
I’ve also never heard of dishwasher salt. I wonder if this is a UK thing? A water softener, perhaps?
I looked it up on Wikipedia and elsewhere. It does have something to do with the water softener. I think it’s just a Europe thing.
I'm confused now. The other video i watched the girl said theres no need to rinse. Idk what to do now.
I have never used a dish washer

I'd suggest getting one with a "self cleaning" filter
Which is one with a disposal type device that choose up food particals
Haha same. I think if you have a good dishwasher you don't need to rinse but maybe wipe off excess food.

This is the best tutorial i have ever seen on UA-cam, 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻nice job, 😊
wow, thanks 😊
What kind of dishwasher do you have?
Teshurah Lee hi there, it’s a Miele I put the link in the dishwasher. Hope that helps 👍
Don’t overlap the bowls. That block the water flow obviously. Not properway
Do not pre rinse!
Good for you! Maybe you can clone yourself and send....
ha ha
I don’t think you should pre-rinse.
That's what everyone keeps telling me! I'm listening 👂
