- THE SOLO PVP OFFICIAL JUNGLE CHALLENGE BEGINS...
The rules are simple - I can ONLY farm and pick up resources from within the borders of the jungle, if I want anything else... I'll have to find a way to take it from another player. Using our wits and game knowledge we'll see just how far we can make it, and just how much of the server we can take.
Conan gameplay - LONG OVERDUE!
Conan Exiles is an online multiplayer survival game, now with sorcery, set in the lands of Conan the Barbarian. Enter a vast, open-world sandbox and play together with friends and strangers as you build your own home or even a shared city. Survive freezing cold temperatures, explore loot-filled dungeons, develop your character from scavenging survivor to mighty barbarian and powerful sorcerer, and fight to dominate your enemies in epic siege wars.

So uhhhh... been uh... almost half a year since my last gameplay upload... oops. I'VE BEEN BUSY
This was filmed back in august so if you see healthbars way further away than you're used to, it's not ESP, that's just how the game was. Let me know what you think of the challenge format and if you prefer a series over one long video. Enjoy!

what conan should do is what ARK did for caves and ruins on various maps. add cave damage. so on ark if i recall cave damage on default is either 3x or 5x, for the sake of argument lets say they make it 5x on conan. so any base build within world map structures like the keystone take 5x structure damage AND being in these zones will prevent the use of god bubbles. this would solve the ceiling base meta issue, yes ceiling bases will still be strong or at least viable, BUT they will no longer be unraidable if built correctly.
tried conan pvp (i have a shameful 21k hours on ARK: Survival Evolved across 3 accounts on pvp only servers) and its worse than ark official servers in the amount of cheaters, dupers, meshers we found. nearly every server was dead except for non US servers so the ping was utter trash, and every server was littered with grief spam and ceiling bases. if the creators of this game actually gave a fuck about it they would of done something about ceiling bases. the ARK devs are mostly PVE andy's but they have pvp minded people on their staff that at least make an attempt to balance the game out for pvp as well as pve.
so i just stuck to modded PVE servers on conan because i feel the pvp is just really shit in its current state, even though the combat mechanics feel really good to me and seem like it would be super fun. but theres a reason ARK is the king of survival genre pvp/raiding it just has more option for players and it all functions far better =/

@@libertyprime7911 Well yes, as brilliant as this game is the company is unwilling to fix the issues that have been there for god knows how many years. I love conan but can't play it more than about 2-3 months a year otherwise my mental health will start taking a hit because of the glaring problems that have still not been fixed despite not being that big of a thing to fix.
These videos give me the same pleasure as watching stuff like "naked and afraid" and "survivor man". Just seeing a man in a hostile, miserable environment toughing it out and pushing forward no matter what gets thrown at him. Your suffering is much appreciated and VERY entertaining. Great video and I love the concept of only using 1 biome. Ocean/river only would be truly something to watch.

I don't know much about this game, I played it for about 3 hours, so I have no room to critique your gameplay. That being said..... this was great. I really enjoy the effort you put into this, and I equally enjoy watching someone play a game they know so well.
An hour and 30 minutes into this video and now you got me wishing I was watching that space engineers playthrough you teased that you had to shelf for this video. I think you having fun with a game makes it more fun to watch, and a duo with Jumbi in a game you're still excited playing sounds like a recipe for a good time. It's a balancing act but I think the only way to get the algorithm to push out your other stuff is to keep doing other stuff, and build up more of an audience that isn't just here for Conan, and more of an audience that's here for your stuff in general. And I think having fun with other stuff like it seemed like you did with V Rising is better than burning yourself out on just Conan.
Holy shit I am so pumped for this! I'm actually going to save it til Christmas to watch it. I'll add it to the list of awesome movies I'm going to watch 😁😁

Ah yes, finally! Some content i can ACTUALLY ENJOY! Scouting content! The desire to probe deep into enemy defenses, to climb to great heights and overcome what the homeowner thought was next to impenetrable but was a close fifth due to bad building design. The ability to finesse past disgusting ammounts of wall spikes because apparantly that's the only thing that is close to what people in this community like to call 'Duct Tape'.

Only way to kill a ceiling base with a bubble is to camp the entrances to hopefully stop them farming for the bubble. Then you raid when it’s done. Only possible if you have more people than them.
Nah just troll the clan in global chat to trigger them. Then summon an admin to ban the clan. This is clearly the new meta

I really hope funcom watches your video so they can see how most players feel when playing the game. Conan is such a fun game and because of it we get content like this, but it sucks when the game is barely playable how it’s supposed to be and I totally understand how you feel
The game has everything to be great but poor servers and a couple of bad design choices(clan size should be 5-6 at most) make the game unplayable for most people, shame there is a good game hidden there that would have a big playerbase just if the servers worked a bit better somehow.
I absolutely loved PVP. The raids, counterraids, even as a solo that feeling of being under siege and hunted. People complained when everyone was transferring gear around, cross server battles. Not me, loved that as well even though I was raided hard as a solo. But the bugs and admins deleting whole bases. I finally built a SOLO base good enough to be painful to raid. It was compact, didn't cause lag and I KNEW it was going to be next. Every clan on the server was wiped and I had the only t3 base. Just me and sandstone noobs... so I just body vaulted and... left

This might be an interesting idea to guarantee a good raid:
Invite a friend or two to play *against* you (like maybe have a certain time frame to each build the best base or something? Idk we're spitballing here), then have that be the main challenge. The other PvPers could add to that randomness element because they'll still do whatever the fuck they want, right?

Theres such an unbelievable amount of tribal knowledge in this game. I have almost 6000 hours in this game, ive "seen it all", except clearly i havent haha. That little "jump pad" with the angled roofing is brilliant and ive never seen it lmao.

Sorry for commenting so late after the video upload, but it's kinda hard to find free time for a 2 hour video over the holidays with all the obligatory family visits and such ^^
I hope you still read this anyways. First of all, I loved the video. Your writing is just fantastic and I am always amazed by your ability to somehow tell a coherent story with a playthrough. The thing I felt the need to communicate however, is that my enjoyment of this video was not about Conan. And I actually do not believe that it is for all the other people asking for Conan either. I think it is much more about you and your writing. These Conan videos are just so well written, swapping between gameplay and expostion. Making witty jokes and telling a great story. I think this might simply be due to the fact that you are so much more knowledgable about Conan than you are about other games.
But please don't feel the need to let this define your channel. I believe you could make the same level of content in any other pvp game and people would enjoy it. I for sure would. I just think that, and please don't take this as an insult, your other videos are not on the level of your Conan content at the moment. But again please don't force yourself to play something you hate. That's how people burn out and channels die. I truly love your content and would hate to see that happen. You have one of the most unique and entertaining ways of making videos for survival pvp games (or whatever this genre is called) and if you just hold onto that, I believe that your videos will do great regardless of the game you play. I mean hell, you somehow hooked me on a game that I've never played and possibly never will. That should mean something.

Been so long! SO hyped to see a new video. I do love these long form videos but only when you do it. Seeing the madness slowly seep in is great haha. Also not sure if anyone will see this, but did the Sorcery update change up the ceiling meta? PVP was so stale at the end precisely for the reasons outlined in this video. Alpha clans were functionally un-raidable. It was just so stale and un-fun.

The good news is: Now with the head hunt quests, you can have black blood tools in level 10 or less hahah Just killing sorceres and sending his heads to the pots. You can also get legendary axe, daggers, spear and swords from the same head hunters. Also thralls for benchs and warriors. Just killing sorceres and selling out their heads.
I entered a server last week, killed some sorceres, sell their heads, buy a black blood tool and power level in the caves of brimstone and in ice temple in 1 hour hahah
