Black Leopards were relegated last season, but bought another club in the Second Division and changed the name. This is something that happens regularly in South Africa. Have fun at Black Leopards, foreign coaches usually last about 3 games before being run out of town! Greetings from Johannesburg.
@@masseg6713 Benni McCarthy won the league with SuperSport Utd. Then the team just decided not to compete in the African champions league. McCarthy rightfully went off on them and got sacked. This also happened with a different club forgot which one
I would really love to see a recap video of the Taunton save, just going over the key moments, key players, biggest formation changes and improvements etc
Man, watching that intro brings back so many memories from last year. Roquero's wonderstrike in the Europa finals is still probably my favorite on-stream memory, the vibes were sensational!
3 streams behind. Here we go, FM24 main save! We are behind with the streams from Thursday, Friday and Monday (yesterday). Usual stream schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Wednesday is usually stream free, unless one of the other days is cancelled, then Zealand might stream on Wednesday, or if the week is otherwise changed, for example due to travels.
@@HamsterPod I think I found the first he got from Cyberpower. Later he got a better one I think with an RTX 4080 or something. What I found: specs: i9-12900KF, RTX 3090, I suppose the RAM, SSD/HDD and stuff are also high level.
10:13 the hilarious part of this to me is that the information he left to look at was already on the screen. Top right corner of the interview screen has both club position and form
I was hoping and even suggesting that it should be a journeyman save. It's what made the most sense after doing England because it's the only step up. It's my favourite way to play and I am certainly going to enjoy watching it. The only downside is that there probably won't be any RL visits.
Hey Zealand - just started playing FM a week ago, and in my first save, I was able to (at least so far) get Vancouver FC to the Canadian Premier League playoffs (after which we promptly lost 2-1 to Forge) in their first season. Your lessons are teaching me well, and I can't wait to keep learning from you and following your example in the FM world.
It's so funny seeing how realistic FM is. I did my coaching badges in South Africa and we actually have head coaches here who don't have any badge and some coaching in PSL with only a CAF B not even A.
I hope to see Zealand get more and more nuts with the Brazilian calendar. Tip: If you want a calendar test, hop in a Northeastern team and try to survive.
I remember black leopards playing in the first division when i was a child. had assumed they got bought out and renamed which seems to be tradition in South Africa. Great to see they're still around.
As a South African 🇿🇦 really happy to see you managing in our country and with Black Leopards a team that has got a unique history can’t wait to see how far you take them. 🔥🔥🔥 Also can’t wait to see how you gonna deal with pronunciation of names and places😂😭
I got so excited thinking he’d come to South Africa and I’d show him around🤣🤣. Then I remembered it’s a journey man save. Anyways glad to see my country up there🥰. Btw if you come across Mamelodi Sundowns, that’s the Manchester City of South Africa🤣🤣🤣
FYI Zealand Nedbank Cup is essentially our version of the FA Cup ,but if you get promoted they’ll be one extra competition in the form of the Carling Knockout and if you finish Top 8 in the top flight there is the MTN8. So if your really good you gonna have Yokohama Type fixture congestion😅
Zeeland doing exactly what I did 0 coaching badges and lowest footballing qualifications and starting unemployed, I think once you've played FM for long you look for ways to make it more realistic
Given all the stereotypes about Florida man and all the stereotypes about Sunday league footballers, the idea of a Sunday league footballer from Florida is low key terrifying.
They need to fix the leaving a job interview, Lollujo did the same, you can get back in by just clicking go back a few times but there should just be a button to get back in.
I live in Melaka once, and I personally know Nur Azmi Ahmad. Nice and funny man, really funny you leave the interview Z hehehehehe. Actually the Melaka team now is a rebuilded team after Melaka United goes bankrup last season. Nur Azmi trying to rebuild the team and with the Chief Minister taking over recently, Melaka have a good chance to be back :)
Zealand, did you know that South Africa just won the Rugby World cup for the 2nd time in a row and are now the winningest team in rugby world cup history, even though they didn't compete in the first 2 World cups, in 1987 and 1991?
Melaka board: "Will you be prepared to stay with this team for a long term?" Zealand: "Uh, um, hold on. I'll be right back I gotta go check my phone..." Melaka: "...wow, couldn't even make it through the interview. bullet dodged I guess"
This is my EXACT save in FM23. Unemployed, no quals, no experience. Just go wherever the fm gods take me. Most fun i've had in a video game in a very long time.
Lol, never did a journeyman before and decided to do it this year to. Started at sogndal in the norwegian second division. I was suprised they would take a manager with zero qualifications hh.
I was looking forward to a Fethiyespor start. Amazing tourism town, you could eat good kebab here and they'd fix your hairline. But Black Leopards is exciting too.
I live one minute from a fourth division club in Norway. I had hoped at you got the Kvik Halden job, would have been funny seeing you play in Kirkenes.
I'm so sad my local club Finn Harps didn't offer you a job. That would have been a fascinating start to a save, and for once they might not have been totally shit haha

South Africa hates good managers, look at how they treated Benni McCarthy. He literally got sacked for being too successful

I was hoping to see Zealand manage in Serie A for a change, but perhaps he'll end up there during this save.
Can't wait for the FM26 San Marino based team in Serie A save LOL
Man, watching that intro brings back so many memories from last year.
Roquero's wonderstrike in the Europa finals is still probably my favorite on-stream memory, the vibes were sensational!
this video is incredible, the animations and the storytelling, everything! One of your best Zealand❤

By any chance do you know what Zealand’s PC specs are? I’m looking to upgrade and I’d love an FM “supercomputer” lol.

Journeyman is a way of life and rewarding as hell! Good luck!
Oh man you have no idea how bummed out I was that you didn't get offered the Finn Harps job. They're like everyone's second favourite club in Ireland.
That intro is one of the BEST I have ever seen in history of UA-cam, goosebumps.

Must be a world record for the shortest time staying somewhere after the boss asks if you are going to stick around.
This is my first FM save I’m gonna folly from Zealand. Always loved his FM content on his main. I’m pumped
Wow! That's either a Journeyman save or Pentagon save. And this might be the Breath of fresh air for this channel. I think it will worth your while.
