I'm going on holiday in May for 2 weeks. Last time I went on holiday 3 years ago I didn't miss my family or friends but I really missed my dog. I nearly came home a week early.
Thanks for this video Rebekka! I have been thinking about this topic a lot. Though I'm super duper excited to go it's something that's on mind sometimes. Great video 💜💜
@@rebekkamester2621 I really hope we're able to meet before you leave, in August right? I'm arriving in July, so who knows :) If you're up for it obviously 🤗
Damn I was just watching your au pair. I’m looking into it 🤣🤔. But I don’t think I could look after myself. I might give it a go. I dunno still 🧐. Oh and your fit 🤣. That’s about it. Kindest regards Prince 👑 🇬🇧
Hi! Id really want to become an au pair in the next year (it’s when I’m gonna graduate highschool). Living in the us is my biggest dream and as an au pair I would like to travel a lot and I have seen that it is your goal too so here is my question. Should I save some money (like a lot) before I decide to go or the money I’m gonna earn should be enough? And another question: I’m still young so that’s obvious that I can’t be like a mother to a child but does a host family really knows it? I would really like to become a second sister or a friend to a child- I really like spending time with kids; playing with them, helping them with lessons or going with them somewhere but I am not sure what would I do if they get ill (instead of the obvious things). I am not like a typical mom who knows always what to do and how to act and I think that’s normal but does the fam see it the same way? I really like your videos and It feels like you are really open and fun person so Id like to see what you think 🤪☺️☺️
Hey Anita! 1. It's not necessary to save a lot of money. I would suggest you to manage your money very good right from the beginning, which means having saving account ONLY for your travels. 2. Nobody expects you to be a "mother" or the "Au Pair full of experience". It seems like you love children, you are able to find creative ways to play with them (especially during Covid) and you love teaching. That's awesome! In my opinion, you should definitely go for it! :)
Your videos really push my excitement about becoming an au pair to another level 💕
SO excited for you! When it’s going to start for you?

Why am I watching this if I’m not even an au pair yet?, anyway it would be helpful for the future
Absolutely! It’s always better to be prepared a bit. :) so excited for your journey!
How much longer your Au Pair program left? and what is your plan after?
Until August. I am going to study international Business back in my country. :)
