Carlo ancelotti has 4 champions league wins on route to his 5th on June 1st 2024 and he has won the league in almost all of europes top 5 leagues including the Bundesliga serie A and La liga. He’s been doing it for decades too and his tactics still hold up even to this day which proves he not only has the longevity but the accolades to be the goat manager
@@antoniotrivelloni8191 I never complained about Pop over Kerr. But I don't see why Lue should be over Kerr. Honestly I think Lue is starting to get overrated. Past three seasons the Clippers missed the playoffs, followed by two first round exits. Injuries play a part but this team is talented enough that shouldn't be a result.
Ty Lue over Steve Kerr is straight up insane. Steve Kerr took a 50 win team from mark jackson and made them significantly better with the same players. He’s more successful than Ty Lue, and didn’t need lebron to win a championship for him.
“Doesn’t need LeBron”? Bro, they had 4 All NBA or Defensive players in 2015 and one of those dudes was the MVP. 2016 was the same team but better. In 2017-2019, they had top talent from those teams AND KD. The only time he had any notably worse than Dynasty level team and won was in 2022
@@Jonathan-A.C.I don’t think that argument sticks because before him they weren’t the allnba players that they’re regarded as. While I do think they are incredibly talented, he’s the one that did give them the go signal and put them in the right circumstance to truly blossom. And then KD came in and they made the league their playground in which case was incredibly boring.
@@Jonathan-A.C. why you think the warriors ended up with that many good players? They looked shit (besides curry) under mark Jackson. Kerr took those mediocre players and made them all stars with his system. Even curry went from borderline all star to unanimous MVP.
Bruh EVERYTIME Steph has been injured the Warriors have struggled even with KD. Kerr cannot win without Steph u can't say he is a better coach than Tye Lue when all his success is tied to 1 player. Tye has hardly ever had a full squad at the Clippers someone is always hurt whether it's Kawhi or PG13 or both yet he somehow can be competitive in the NBA.
Why the Pop hate post Kawhi? I mean is it on Pop that Demar and Aldridge didn't work out? They tried to stay competitive after losing their top 5 player to chronic injuries, when that wasn't working, they pivoted, and made trades, then they developed Dejounte into an all-star, and traded him for a ton of assets, AND got Wembanyama.

I think that as far as overall career goes, it's probably Kerr over Lue, but beyond that the list is near perfect, and I can hear the argument for Lue over Kerr.
I think it's unfair to say that Kerr struggles with developing young talent. This narrative really just got started because of Wiseman, who was injured most of his time with the Warriors, not panning out and Kuminga and Moody not getting consistent playtime. And it's just hard to play younger, inconsistent players when you want to make the playoffs and have better options available.
Kerr is such an overrated coach... he always massively struggles without steph even when he had kd... he should never be considered as a great coach in no way whatsoever... dude has had the most elite talent all his life and without him, his team are the absolute worse teams in the league... not to mention his temper tantrums... he's an embarrassment tbh🤦♂️
@@barobaro1 What did Phil Jackson do without Kobe and Michael? How did Popovich do once Duncan retired? Great players are part of it and, as a matter of fact, pretty much every great coach spent a large chunk of their careers with great players. You're not going to get considered a great coach without success and you're not going to be successful without great players. When Curry was injured and Durant played the Warriors were 23-17. That's still a solid 47/48 win team, basically what they were this year. And I randomly checked 3 games and in 2 of those Curry wasn't the only starter missing, so arguably their record could've been even better than that. And obviously, outside of the Durant years, the Warriors are obviously going to be pretty bad without Curry. No matter who you put on the coaching seat, they're not going to make these recent Warriors teams work without a healthy Curry. If Thompson had returned closer to his pre-injury self maybe, but the last few years he's sadly been extremly inconsistent.
So I’m not trying to sound disrespectful when I say this but “what makes Ty Lue so great”. To me his resume is really similar to Doc Rivers. One ring ages ago and then not making it far with the Clips. I’m not Hating I just wanna know why he gets such love.

Tbh I don't understand why people have Kerr so high on their coach rankings lol he hasn't really done anything. His first championship was literally the year after Mark Jackson was a Curry ankle injury away from greatness lol. 2 of those rings was KD making them unbeatable and the other last one was some outstanding play by Curry and the role player that can't buy a bucket in Washington right now. They were gonna be successful anyway he doesn't know how to make adjustments at all. Like when they tried to treat Jalen Brown like Ben Simmons and got beat by 50 because he didn't change a single thing lol.
You really cant put much blame on Pop for us being mid after Kawhi. Demar as your #1 guy just aint gonna do it. He did his job tho. The reason Demar was even there for as long as he was was so that we could stay mid as Wemby got older so by the time he was in the draft we were ass and we got the #1 pick.
