So happy to hear someone else say they have been nervous to try sublimation. I have a sublimation printer and have barely used it because the few times I used it, my projects never came out how I wanted them to, so I have stopped using it. I have bought some car freshies, and after watching your video, am going to give it a shot, as your video has given me motivation to try using my sublimation printer again. This time I won't give up until I have my projects right. Thank you.
An idea for the one transferred upside down…do both sides upside down, attach a tassel to the bottom hole, make another hole in the top to attach the hanger. No waste and a second design. 😁
Like u, i have steered away from sublimation. I really think for me, it's bn like 1 more thing i have to buy when I'd rather focus on tumblers. But watching this makes me wanna add sublimation to my resume lol. Awesome tutorial (as always lol)!!! ❤❤❤
Yes! One more think to add to the to do list, the craft room mess, friend and family obligated requests “because you have the supplies” 😂 it actually hasn’t been bad though. I’m horrible at shirts and no one in their right mind would ask for one. Lol little nick nacks like this has been great! Tumblers are in process of improvement 🥴 it’s a learning process just like learning the ropes of epoxying tumblers. However, could be a great thing to have on hand for small items like this around holidays. They make great fillers for gifts as well as coasters, mousepads, bags…lots of small things can be sublimated!
Thank you so much! Just ordered the freshies for an event I have this weekend. Hoping they are a hit. Do you have a link to the stickers you made? I don’t see any like that on Etsy.
Try using a garbage bag tie or a bread bag tie. Strip the plastic off and it leaves a thin piece of wire that will slip thru the beads. I loved these, they are so cute.❤❤
Hi, Brittany. I am new to making these felt freshies and really enjoyed your tutorial. This pattern you used on these is very pretty, and I wonder if you would mind letting me know where you got it? Also, I have a tip on an easy way of threading the beads. I've been making other items with beads for a long time and use a dental floss threader with those that are a little too narrow. I once used the same ribbon technique in your video before discovering that a dental floss threader is quicker and easier. Kindest regards.
Hi Brittany, really great tutorial. Thank you so much. However I do have one question.. I currently have my own designs they are shaped as different models of cars, and if i transfer them to the felt is it advised for me to cut the felt paper to fit the shape of my car designs? if not is there any other way that i can make freshies? Thanks!
I use the non-stick oven liners from amazon. The only issue I've found is sometimes the pattern on the oven liner will sublimate into your blank and you can see the pattern if you look closely.
Could they be decorated without using Sublimation. I do not sublimate.. just a thought I would like to make them but would need to figure out different way to decorate. hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙
Since you mentioned that you don't do sublimation regularly. Do you have to clean your printer and change the inks after each use? I've been told that unless your doing high volumes of sublimation it can be a pain and costly because the printer get clogged and the inks dry up fast with limited use. TIA!!
I actually ended up with a clogged printer during this tutorial. I have another sub tutorial coming next week and am going to link the very helpful video that helped me clear that in seconds.

I love making these little freshners! These are beautiful
Those are adorable!! I love watching DF also, she gives me so many ideas and explains everything along the way!!
Those are great!! The colors are so vibrant!

Thanks for sharing how easy it was for you. I've also wanted to try but been intimidated by how complex it looked doing things other than shirts
What an awesome idea! Just ordered some to play with.😜

These are really cute! If a Bobby pin will fit in the bead hole you can use it to thread the string through. 😊
Great idea!!❤
Another great tutorial. I love sub-freshies. Thank you thank you for the small beading tip. xo
Ooooh! I love these! I’m going to try this! Thank you for a great tutorial 😊

How long does the scent last on these?

So cute ❤❤❤❤
Amazing talent ❤
Thank you ❤
I tried this but only one side took color the other side was faded I use hippo sublimation ink did I do something wrong?
How do you get them to the correct size. I bought the app but I can’t seem to get the numbers on right like ur video.
Have you had any issues with the print smudging from the scent spray?
Was just wondering if you could use one of those non-stick oven liners in place of the butcher paper?

Do you have a problem with them flattening out … I may need to lighten the pressure on my heat press.

Can you use a regular heat press and if so what temperature and pressure?
Oh yes absolutely. Pressure I’m not 100% on since I just used the weight of the hand held press for this but my temp was 390 and 45 seconds each side
@@brittanybarnesboutique thank you! I enjoy your videos.
I use the regular heat press with no pressure other than the weight of the machine. I'm pressing at 400 degrees for 60 seconds.
Your ink doesn’t transfer onto your pressing pillow?
Where do you find your images?
Do you sell these unbeaded unscented ?
did you use ordinary sublimation paper?
Is this something that i could use DTF on instead of sub ink?
hm....im sure that could work as well! Let us know how it goes if you give it a try :)
