Best and most straight forward, common sense video I was able to find for quick tutorial for selling used books at modest quantities. Also appreciate the humor. THANKS!
Just wanted to say thank you for a very easy to understand video. I watched it last night, then watched again while toggling over and adding books this evening. You made something that looked complicated, super simple & fast.
It's been over a month that I have made my first shipment of books to Amazon, but I wanna thank you for this video! It has made the process much simpler!
Great video! One time saving tip. If you have the mini data option open for your browser you don't have to copy paste. Type a few key words and your listing will populate as one of the options. So if you have a VG book in a poly, very poly and your listing will be there for you to scroll down and select. No more copy pasting.
this video was very helpful. it is nice to see someone just do the process right in front of you cuz there is a lot of different routes you can go with setting up Amazon FBA for selling items.
YOU, Sir, are a FIVE-STAR Individual! I LOVE how you do business and your personality ROCKS! Thank you for sharing. Live LONG, in GREAT health, surrounded by WONDERFUL people who love you..... and PROSPER!!!! Cheers, Mate!
The Hustle No problem. You're most welcome - I'm compelled to acknowledge the greatness and integrity I see in others when I have the opportunity to do so. Indeed, you were of help to me - you saved me a lot of time.
Thank you for detailed info on this subject. Very educative. I started with RA but the inbound shipping costs even for 1 Ib billable weight was $4.44. How can I avoid these high shipping costs now that I am about to ship my first box of books
you have a new subscriber! This is the 1st of your videos I've seen and it's great but I'm particularly impressed with your responsiveness to comments. If nobody' has told you today, you're pretty awesome!
At 7:11, you can also cut/paste that Merchant Sku over into Scan & Ship (keep it open in another Browser Tab.) And it will pop out your FBA Label on a Dymo (It's actually Dymo compatible.) Just use Scan & Ship for Dymo label printing ONLY.. (Unless you just enjoy sending Inbound through there, as well...LOL)
Thank you this was extremely helpful to have a step by step guide. So do you do commingle shipments or create individual upc stickers identifying each book?
Very well done video thank you! I'm just getting started with FBA, been selling on Ebay for a while now it's time to expand and add FBA on my strategy list. God bless! :)
Ken Paul Thanks for checking out the video. I sold on eBay for years and i personally like amazon better. I think you will find that its a little less stressful.
keye keye Sorry for the late reply. Yes for books under $25 i have put it right on the bar code. I am a little worried about dust in the warehouse but i have not had any problems so far.
Your video has helped me a lot! I have a question: do you have to take the labels off library books before sending them to Amazon? There is usually one on the front and side of the book. Thanks!
Sherry Carter Sorry about the late reply. My best advice is to take them off because your running the risk of someone complaining. To be completely honestly I do not.
Thanks for this. Its one of the most helpful i've found. Sorry if this has been covered but last thing i'm confused about is labels: I had understood that Amazon wanted labels printed on laser or thermal to keep the barcode readable. If not then you can have Amazon do the labeling at 20 cents per item and just send the books in as they are (though in this case not covered in a white polybag or else they won't be able to read the original barcode!). Seems you're saying they don't mind if you just use a normal printer. Like you say - I would prefer to use what I have when starting out.
Simon Sharp When i first started i just printed the labels on regular paper and cut them out. The avery paper found in the description will let you use a regular printer and the labels will stick if you don't want to tape them on. The 20 cents really adds up, i would not pay amazon to do it :)
OK thanks. That helps. It seems like FBA shipping process is something that at first seems very confusing and then you start realizing its pretty simple. Strange
Hey thank you SO much!! This video was not only helpful but it was enjoyable to watch/listen to! I am definitely subscribing and checking out your other vids! Thanks again!!
Awesome video! I felt it was very comprehensive. You didn't rush through the video leaving time for us viewers to follow along and take notes. Than you so much for all the help. I know you use UPS because of the Amazon discount, how much is that by chance? And can we use Fedex?
Is there a video anywhere that shows what happens next? How do the listings I did go on the Amazon site. does Amazon do it when they receive the boxes?
Thanks so much! I've been putting off doing an FBA shipment because I don't have what I need..... or so I thought! Now I know I can just go for it without the fancy stuff! In my opinion, this is the best FBA tutorial I've seen.... and I've seen a lot. Probably just enough to confuse me! One question... I don't have suffocation labels. I believe I can print my own BUT the only stickers I have are the 30 up Avery labels. Will those work? Or can I do plain paper and tape them on?
Thanks for your video. Do you ever have New books or do you always start with Like New. I am just begining on Amazon FBA and many books I have look new to me. I may have purchased the book at a yard sale or church bazaar but they look new. Thanks for your help.
HI THERE!! my listings always say inactive(out of stock) even after it says its already up for sale ....I havent sent the shipment out yet. Ive dived into the settings to make sure everything is listed as active and it is, so what do you think may be the issue? thanks!!

Hello there. I have a dymo turbo 450 label printer along with a starter roll of white address labels 1 1/8" x 3 1/2" (28mm x 89mm). I'm planning to sell books on amazon but i don't how to make my labels come out vertically because are put in vertically ..? So does anyone have a clue ??
Swaying With The PalmTrees The cheapest way is probably driving them to UPS. I use the smart pick up because its only $6 or so. The normal pick up is more expensive.
Yes sir! I taped them at first. It took me several months before i bought the dymo. The sticky address labels are pretty cheap though. I just found some for $6.
Lucky! They cost me about $20 for 25 sheets. That is at Wal-mart. I have looked around and can get them cheaper per page, but I have to buy a LOT more.
Hey, thank for your great content! I was just wondering, I have an amazon fulfillment center in my city, and I was wondering if I could just take boxes there myself rather than shipping them. As far as you know, is this possible?? Thanks, Daniel
+Alvin Graham I get them on amazon. The suffocation label link in is in the description. You can just stick the product sku right over the barcode of the book if you dont want to poly bag.
+Anthony Bottari The labels i use are 2 1/4 x 1 1/4 for the amazon skus so i assume this would work. Its the cheapests i could find and it says zebra compatable. (I dont see the point in spending $30 for name brand when $5 should do it) I am 99% sure it would work. Hope that helps www.amazon.com/Zebra-Compatible-Direct-Thermal-Labels/dp/B0035INRDQ/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1453694958&sr=8-5&keywords=2-1%2F4%22+x+1-1%2F4+zebra
can you or anyone help me w/ this matter: After I added books in inventory, I found some books 1) inventories are Inactive (out of order), 2) some inventories don't include shipping cost, and 3) most of inventories have very expensive fees even though my account is professional one. For example, i listed a book w/ a price 0.99 and free for that inventory is $5.14 include FBA of 3.19. I am losing money if i sell this book, which doesn't make sense to me. I hope you can help me with this matter. thank you for your help in advance. peter
A little quick but I get it. I have a few thousand books that no one wanted and I need to get rid of them. I had been wanting to open an Amazon store for a while so I guess this is a good time to start. Do you think it would be a good idea to get a scanner to collect all the ISBN codes and just import them into a csv file? Does Amazon support uploading data in a csv file? Thanks man
+Bob Egbert I use a usb bar code scanner. It will speed up the process. There is a $20 one on amazon that works great. You can list via a csv file but i do it one by one. I want to see the image of the book so i know its the correct one.
Yes but that may be alot to go through if you have alot of skus. Right now i use inventory lab to list with a USB scanner. I have heard good things about scanlister also but have not tried. This video is a good free way to do things. Another issue with listing with a csv is that its hard to clearify if the listing is soft or hard cover and also publish dates on older books. I really want to see the book before i hit that list button.
This is a great video! I enjoyed watching it, very informative and i will keep referring back to it. I am about to do my first fba shipment so this is a great encouragement :) Thank you!
Forgive me f I missed something in the video, but how did that one shipment of 37 units get to go to one warehouse and not become a split shipment? Joe B. Hey Joe. That was a shipment that was in transit. I dont split them up deliberately. I usually have 3 to 5 boxes depending on how much i have and what i being sent.
I just can't do my first shipment to FBA I have everything I need but there is always something that I missising. Is kind of stressful make the first shipment.
mzzzol I totally understand. I did my first shipment last week. They arrived at UPS today and books are up ready to sell. I was afraid I might do something wrong but it all went OK. Working on my 2nd shipment. Hopefully, I don't forget all the steps I went through the first time lol :) Just go through the process and you will learn as you go. So far 2nd time working on a shipment seems to be easier. I just need more books :)
Swaying With The PalmTrees Do we need to use polybag or shrink wrap for all books? I saw some other guys who don't use and just put the books into box.
You can put the amazon label over the UPC and put them in the box but i would not do that for more expensive books. Honesty, I even do it for the less expensive ones because poly bags are so cheap (under $0.09 each). It keeps the book together and clean in the warehouse.
I always thought that items had to be clear poly bags... I like the grey poly bags for ebay now I use them for FBA ... Thanks for the video... Also sellers can use thee avery 30 labels per page for bar codes
The Hustle shouldnt matter..ive worked for a amazon warehouse and the sex toys go into black bags. as for other products i see more grey poly bags then i do clear poly bags
+gar y Sorry for the late response. MF ship from home with longer handling and shipping times. Prime comes direct from Amazon with two day shipping and a very long return policy. People will pay more for that.

Tyler Dillon Sorry about the late reply. My best advice is to just get started and knock it out one at a time. Going through the conditions is going to be the hardest part. I would break it up by 100 or so at a time. You will be glad you did it once they start selling. Good luck!
In your conditional notes, you state info on shipping Super Saver, etc., and you state that you offer hassle free returns. Is this all because it is being shipped FBA, or are these choices you made as the seller? I'm brand spankin' new at this Amazon game...so, I'm clueless... Thanks! Great video by the way, very informative and great to have step by step for us newbies!
Great video. Very informative. Thanks also for the info on www,camelcamelcamel.com. I'm building up my inventory and your pricing info already helped increase my sales. I had to ask myself if I wanted to hold out for a higher price or move inventory. I want to move inventory. After adjusting prices more inventory started to move. Thanks again.
turbo 72 Thanks for watching! If you have trouble finding inventory, i have found that books are easy to find and list. I pay no more than $1 and take the ones that sell for $10 or more :)
Best and most straight forward, common sense video I was able to find for quick tutorial for selling used books at modest quantities. Also appreciate the humor. THANKS!
I've seen many vídeos on fba book selling. But this is the first one that actually goes into the listing
Steps one by one. Thanks!

Great video; you explain the nuts and bolts of FBA shipments far better than any other video I have watched!
Emily Sires Sorry about the late reply. Thanks for checking out the video!
This is one of the best videos on the topic I've seen. I inherited a small library from my grandfather and think I will start using FBA

You are wound up tighter than an 8 day clock BUT that's good I learned more from this one video than I have from dozens of others! Thank you!
Johnnybob Kadiddlehopper LOL. Sorry about the late reply! Thanks for checkin out the video.
you have a new subscriber! This is the 1st of your videos I've seen and it's great but I'm particularly impressed with your responsiveness to comments. If nobody' has told you today, you're pretty awesome!

Thank you so much for an amazing video. Because of your outstanding video, I am now able to send my first shipment to FBA. You rock!!

You can find it with the ISBN or the title. Type in the authors name as well because a lot of titles are similar.
Great video! FYI, you can get free box shipping labels through your UPS account. You can order 50 at a time!
appreciate the help, on to my first shipment this week, Lets Do This!
Well done!
Very and concise nice pace, I hate when bids drag
Thanks for the good info. Have a question for the cheap books, did you stick the label directly on the cover?
keye keye Sorry for the late reply. Yes for books under $25 i have put it right on the bar code. I am a little worried about dust in the warehouse but i have not had any problems so far.
What would you do if you have to ship 2000 books? Would you print out each shipping label and stick them on individually?
Just found your channel. Love your videos, very informative and helpful especially for a newbie like me. Thank you so much.
Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to respond to me!
When are you gonna release some more vids? You're really good at presenting the topics. Well done mate.
great video, one question do you have to do poly pages for your book or can you send it without it?

Awesome, brother...Thank you!! This was, by far, the best "how to" video I've seen on this subject. 👍👍
So I have hundreds of books already listed as merchant. What are your suggestions to move those over to FBA.
I taped a bunch when i first started with no problems. Just take your time and make it look nice and you should be fine :)
Jesseeeee, do you use your dymo to print the amazon shipping labels? Or just the product labels?
Hey dude i do not have a printer for my MacOSX and was thinking could I print these up at work to start out?
Thanks for your video. Do you ever have New books or do you always start with Like New. I am just begining on Amazon FBA and many books I have look new to me. I may have purchased the book at a yard sale or church bazaar but they look new. Thanks for your help.

what label do you put on the polybag
Thanks Jesse. I probably will watch again to make sure that I am not screwing up somehow.
Thanks for watching! I need to slow down with the mouse. I move a little fast.
do you list one item at a time for all your books or do.you use any type of tool or app for this Thanks
What is a "smart pick up". What's the difference besides being cheaper? Thank you. Great video!
Swaying With The PalmTrees The cheapest way is probably driving them to UPS. I use the smart pick up because its only $6 or so. The normal pick up is more expensive.
Smart pick up it is. No way I can carry boxes of books half an hour to UPS lol :) Thanks again.
I thought that you had to use the sticky address labels to put on the label. I didn't know that you can just tape them to the items also!
Yes sir! I taped them at first. It took me several months before i bought the dymo. The sticky address labels are pretty cheap though. I just found some for $6.

Just added them to the description. It looks like its about $6.87 or 750 labels. 25 sheets of 30.
Thanks! I will definitely need that before long.
Hey, thank for your great content!
I was just wondering, I have an amazon fulfillment center in my city, and I was wondering if I could just take boxes there myself rather than shipping them. As far as you know, is this possible??
Thanks, Daniel
Is there any way I could possibly have a copy of your condition notes in that txt file you had? :D
so you put the label on the poly book where do i get the suffocation label
+Alvin Graham I get them on amazon. The suffocation label link in is in the description. You can just stick the product sku right over the barcode of the book if you dont want to poly bag.
you are so cool, I like the way you handle things
Wonderful !!!! you have clear explanations and I was able to learn from you how to to the listing and shipping ( I was stuck) thanks :)
love the videos man but I can't for the life of me determine what size labels to get for my zebra lp2844.. any input?
+Anthony Bottari The labels i use are 2 1/4 x 1 1/4 for the amazon skus so i assume this would work. Its the cheapests i could find and it says zebra compatable. (I dont see the point in spending $30 for name brand when $5 should do it)
I am 99% sure it would work. Hope that helps

+The Hustle I'll check the link out when I get home. thanks so much!!
Right on. The important thing is they should be around 2 1/4 x 1 1/4. So any zebra label of that size should work.
+The Hustle thanks man!

+The Hustle When you export your csv file to Amazon I would think the thumbnail would show up from the isbn no?
Yes but that may be alot to go through if you have alot of skus. Right now i use inventory lab to list with a USB scanner. I have heard good things about scanlister also but have not tried. This video is a good free way to do things. Another issue with listing with a csv is that its hard to clearify if the listing is soft or hard cover and also publish dates on older books. +The Hustle I see, Thanks for answering my questions. I did not know about them.
help where do i put the label on the book or book
Hello , can i add my products on my phone or do i have to use laptop or computer?
This is a great video! I enjoyed watching it, very informative and i will keep referring back to it. I am about to do my first fba shipment so this is a great encouragement :) Thank you!
Forgive me f I missed something in the video, but how did that one shipment of 37 units get to go to one warehouse and not become a split shipment? Was it just by chance that Amazon decided to choose the shipment to go to one location, or was this intended on your part? Are you using their Inventory Placement Service?
Joe B. Hey Joe. That was a shipment that was in transit. I dont split them up deliberately. I usually have 3 to 5 boxes depending on how much i have and what i being sent.
I just can't do my first shipment to FBA I have everything I need but there is always something that I missising. Is kind of stressful make the first shipment.
mzzzol You just gota do it! Once they start selling you will be far more motivated to get the 2nd one out. Thanks for watching :)

I always thought that items had to be clear poly bags... I like the grey poly bags for ebay now I use them for FBA ... Thanks for the video... Also sellers can use thee avery 30 labels per page for bar codes
Thanks for watching! I have always used grey ones. I have never had problems.
The Hustle shouldnt matter..ive worked for a amazon warehouse and the sex toys go into black bags. as for other products i see more grey poly bags then i do clear poly bags
Great video! Answered all my questions! 📝
How do you know which books to buy?
Is this method still useful for 201& ?
Can you explain why merchant fulfilled doesn't matter in terms of pricing?
+gar y Sorry for the late response. MF ship from home with longer handling and shipping times. Prime comes direct from Amazon with two day shipping and a very long return policy. People will pay more for that.
Nice... thanks for telling us how to get there.

+kluaf oz Awesome! Thanks so much for checkin it out!

Do you ever do any phone coaching for XX.?? per hour? I have 3000 books to ship to Amazon and I am just starting out and would rather pay to skip the mistakes.
Tyler Dillon Sorry about the late reply. My best advice is to just get started and knock it out one at a time. Going through the conditions is going to be the hardest part. I would break it up by 100 or so at a time. You will be glad you did it once they start selling. Good luck!
Great vid! Lots of valuable information that will definitely help me out a lot. You are awesome!
In your conditional notes, you state info on shipping Super Saver, etc., and you state that you offer hassle free returns. This post is no nonsense and exactly what a person needs to list their books. How is every other person communicating how not as concise as he is.

Gave Like for polybag joke - the labels save people lives :)))
You're funny, dude. :p Good info!
Thanks for the vid - just be careful with your address - I can see it in the video if u pause it :) Good luck :)
Thanks a lot for the video.
