Simple stuff like vocals on vocals, being able to quickly mix in and out AS WELL as slowly, proper EQing and perfect timing can be learned on anything. This was pretty lame, beginner DJ me would have killed for gear like this rather than my 100s and DJM 300. Here's hoping they're alot better nowdays

With the knob plates, more or more to b to a. He gave the middle of two beautiful decks so he swung the crossfader to the right or left, nothing will change ... He then mixed with the volume of the two decks.
any idea how to fix a cdj that has trouble powering up, managed to get it to power up once and then hit eject and found a burned cd inside that was hella scratched.. made the mistake of putting it back in instead of leaving it to run and then it crashed and now im back at square one. any solutions? take it apart and check fuse and stuff or what?

Keep pumpin the decibels like that and your speakers won,t last long. Your LED indicators should only be in the green,rarely bouncing up to the amber lights. Adjust your trims and no need to have your linefaders up full bore either. Otherwise keep on mixing.
7:35 loops come in and hes not looping...must be the remix itself? :s Also his crossfader isnt zeroed on the one side so it could be on cut. it is a good mix tho :)
