You wouldn't want to be tying to many knots wasting that amount of leader. Good demo mate.Cutting that much line off all adds up.I just use basic snell(No waste).
Once you have the adjusted top hook how would you stop the hook from sliding if you were to use live bait. Any ideas? Would be great if we could lock it up once you have done this adjustment....I think on trawling... if not locked.... the hook would move..love the idea behind it... there must be a way we could lock it in place after putting it on live bait..??🤔

Nicolas Sulejic there is already a vid regarding assist hooks. And you will occasionally get legal whiting in Hays but the bigger models are difficult to find.

Gunho Adventures it’s a fairly firm knot. It may move but not a lot. Not enough to mess with the live bait.
