Truly inspirational presentation ! I just love it !. There are so many songs included of which I am particularly fond - like "Here In My Arms" in track #1 and "Only A Rose" - track #4. It is so beautiful, then the delightful music and song from "New Moon", which is almost beyond description.
Thank you so much for sharing this excellent post.

Incredible selection, Bob. We are lucky to hear those beautiful songs the way they were originally performed by some of the great artists of the day. Definitely for me, here the champion is "New Moon" even though I would prefered that Baur not Lewis James would sung the part.

For some reason I wasn't able to respond to your post on my Rio Rita upload. Your comment and some others just aren't showing up on here but I get the email. Glad you liked those Baur uploads on the other post. Are you not fond of Lewis James? I do like his voice but not as much as Baur's.

Pax41 Music Time Machine You are right, Bob. James was also a very competent singer but in my opinion without the wide range and personality that Baur had. The first lacks the knack of the second. Just compare the "Sotly" of James here and Baur's in Shilkret's recording and tell me who would you choose as leading director 😏

These are just a delight! Thank you! It seems surprising to hear Lucy Isabel Marsh and Richard Crooks together. In my mind they are from different eras - but here they overlap - beautifully!
