- Today I have several clothing items to show you. Two of the items are my possible choices to wear to a wedding. I need your help in deciding which outfit to wear. (Please note that some of these items may no longer be on sale.)

The jumpsuit is cute. When I examined the fabric of both of the outfits, the dress material is much lighter. I will probably go with the dress, even tho I do love the jumpsuit.

Don't you just love the Dermy Doc Box? If they ever stop sending it to me for free, I will definitely subscribe. Out of all of the boxes that I have ever received, Dermy is the best. I am sorry that I ever started dying my hair. I should have left well enough alone. Oh well, in a few months my hair should be looking a bit better.

I love the dress on you. The jumpsuit looks great too…maybe a fancy belt with the jumpsuit to dress it up a notch. Hope growing out your grey works for you. I am only 50 and stopped coloring back in 2020 and I don’t regret it….most days.

I love the jumpsuit - it fits perfectly. You could consider pearls with the jumpsuit and you can get some cute pearl earrings at Dillards or Nordstrom. Also loved the gauzy dress and I wouldn’t wear a slip - who really cares or looks at “older” ladies - and they are hot! Loved the other clothes too and LOVE your hair. I’ve missed you online! I let my gray grow out and your hairdresser could put something - don’t remember what - on your hair and it will cover the old coloring and it looks some better. I think it washes out too. That’s what I did.

For the wedding I’d pick the dress. It’s too hot for a jumpsuit and they wanted cocktail attire. The dress with your new heels looks very classy. I don’t think it needs a lot of jewelry either, very classic on its own.
I totally understand the hair color debate. It’s a pain coloring every month. With your hair you could get highlights and it would help with the transition.

Love the dress on you ! Fits you perfect and looks very classy. I personally don’t care for the length of the jumpsuit. I know that’s the style , but it looks too short to me.
The shorter length on pants is definitely hard to get used to. I have decided to wear the dress, it will be much cooler.
I like the dress for the wedding but you do you. Since you said you were going to be hot anyway, a black, lightweight cropped cardigan (with 3/4 sleeves) or bolero jacket might help you feel better about your arms. With either outfit, instead of a necklace, a nice brooch would go good with the black.
LOVE the shoes.
When your gray grows out a bit more, you can go back to your colorist, explain that you are going gray, and he/she can do one more dye job with a gray/white color to "blend" everything, including the roots together. That way you won't have as much of a "line" when your hair is growing out. Gray hair requires special treatment, too. Especially if your local water has a lot of minerals. It can get yellow, easy. Talk to your hairdresser about care.
Also, don't be surprised if the gray/white comes out with a different texture and/or curl pattern.

I like the black dress so much better than the pantsuit. It's elegant, perfect wedding attire. Not a fan of the pantsuit zipper or the shorter length. The pockets are a big plus but not enough to warrant wearing pantsuit to the wedding.

Hey Sue. I think both outfits would be great for the wedding. Both looked beautiful on you, I would wear the one that you feel most comfortable in. I really like all the other pieces as well. I just went to Nordstrom rack and zJ zCreww today. I bought 2 pairs of those shorts too. Loved the colors and length of them. I love gray hair, I have never dyed mine, hoping it would one day be all gray. I guess I am an oddball😮
Hi Laura! I am glad that you were able to get to J.Crew to buy the shorts. I too like the 9" inseam on the shorts. I heard that they may also be having a sale over the 4th of July weekend. I will have to check it out. I wish I had never dyed my hair. It is such a pain. No, you are not an oddball! Gray hair can be really pretty. Oh, and I decided to wear the dress.
I'm not going to be much help because I think both wedding outfits look very flattering on you, and both seem appropriate for "cocktail" attire. You should pick the one that makes you feel fabulous!

18:10 18:11 I think both the dress and pants suit looked great on you. Really liked the pants suit until I saw the back with the zipper. That zipper, in my opinion, ruined the look.
