Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is an introspective self-report questionnaire indicating differing psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. The test attempts to assign four categories: introversion or extraversion, sensing or intuition, thinking or feeling, judging or perceiving. One letter from each category is taken to produce a four-letter test result, like INTP or INFP

Seriously, we infps need an alternative job market with things like dog walker, cat sitter, sky watcher, forest wanderer, flower picker, rainy day-appreciator, random YT video-watcher etc.

Dog walking jobs are a thing. So is house/pet sitting,
      sky watching (astronomer, scientist)
      forest wanderer (grounds keeper)
      Flower picker (florists)
      Rainy day apprectiator (weather person)
Trouble with infp's is they want to walk into that easy roll at the end, yano the part when someone has worked hard to get where they are and reep the benefits of their position and hard work. Lol 😆 like, to be a forest wanderer and get paid you'd need qualifications in horticulture, the use of different equipments etc work your way up in the business and have a decent cv to be given a shot at the very few jobs being paid to wander forests.... that's effort for an infp who can just stay home and live out the fantasy of being a forest wanderer in their head 😆

As an INFP I'm lazy, creative, unsocial, my interests are artistic, I like to sing and paint, but I've only painted two pictures my whole life and it was schoolwork and about vocals I'd say I'm kind of good for someone who never warms up before and never studied music theory besides finding it a little boring...studying music...I don't enjoy a busy routine I think my ideal place to live would be a small vegetable farm in a forest with some animals like chickens, dogs and cats.....I need help, I'm 20 now and my family judges a lot, a bit of pressure but I'm still lazy

It's actually not laziness that's keeping us from doing stuff, it's lack of motivation.
We need to seriously think that this is the something worth doing.
Not just for the end result, but getting there too has to have a serious meaning to us.
That's why we are so hard to motivate, and are often labeled as lazy

you should start imagine your dream future and work for it. You need to tell yourself that you want to experience that dream life. And in order to do that you need to work hard in reality. Start the things you enjoy doing (like planting or smtg) and you will go on like a rolling wheel, everything will work out well. Be a tough and passionate INFP and believe that what you are doing is for the better world. INFP loves to contribute to the world for the better isn't it

If anyone sees this, keep either researching or practicing your craft.. have a messy folder where every idea gets put into, don't worry about its relevance right now, it will all come together at some point.
Be wonderfully honest and weird, and help others let go of their egos. We may think, like indicated in the video, that we don't actually listen, but we notice everything and its meanings.. the way to use this is to ask questions to make people wake up to the moment, let them have the full on intense experience that is INFP. Let them fall in love with you and show them how to fall in love 100 times a day.
Also, find an ENFJ to keep you going..😉

As an INFP I don't agree at all. I always loved learning, taught myself two foreign languages. I'm also really good ad actively listening and analyzing what I listen to. I also don't mind serving other people, which made me really good with taking care of customers when working at a bakery and at reception. At university I found most things easy and loved preparing for exams. I also used to read extra books I didn't need for my exams, just out of interest.
I don't like manual work much, but I don't mind mental work at all. My brain is in constant demand for input.
Us INFPs need a job that makes the world a better place. When work serves community or living beings in need we and can enjoy working hard. We can't work just for making money that makes us miserable, but make us work for a good purpose and we can work much harder than other people without complaining.
From my experience, in an INFP doesn't find a job, that INFP probably has been raised in an environment that didn't give value to their way of coping with the world and which discouraged them from following their inner morals.
As an INFP I don't live to work and I don't work to live either. I work because that's part of me being a member of my community, helping to keep my community going.

Here is a list of some of the things that make my current work more tolerable. It is a long list, so in short - be a healer. I work for myself and so have my own hours, and have pre-set packages, each with a strict 'scope of work'. My work partner-husband gets that sometimes I need 'time out' ,is kind to me and likes that I am weird and hugs me a lot (but also reigns in my daydreaming)

As an INFP I do think I'd be like this trying to get a job. But, I do actually create stuff, but only when I'm REALLY in the mood. I drew everyday for a month (and gave up for some days but got back to it) to join a club to actually try to put myself out there. I got rejected. Since then I haven't drawn much because my whole month of efforts wasn't appreciated, so I just draw when my friend asks to.
