Vocally and theatrically, it was breathtaking from A to Z.

If I’m not mistaken, this song was what made her popular in Brazil. I believe a Brazilian soap opera used it for a very pivotal episode and everyone went bonkers trying to find out who she was.

I am a huge Lara fan! When I first heard this song written by Love by Grace by Dave Loggins and Wayne Tester when it was first released by Wynonna Judd in 1996, I absolutely fell in love with it. She is all you can dream of as an artist. She is so open in her spirituality and emotions so its always visible in her face and body. Whatever that is ”learned” by practising it you have to be totally open and communicating without attention of yourself . 10:15 - 10:23 'Breath-control' was remarkable in this segment here ..she appears to delay the inhale, that one could be forgiven for having expected to have occurred moments earlier, so that the eventual expulsion and draw of air inward will add rather than detract artistically from the performance.

Hi Brandon another good performance that you haven't reacted at yet, and that im sure you will love, is Humana from her live concert in Paris 2006. Originally that song was a little bit slower on pace when recorded. But in this concert live in Paris 2006 Lara and her band and vocalist did it in a different amazing version, more funky /soul style. Its a 10 minutes video but you will see a different Lara there. A beautiful smiling dancing Queen having fun with her audience. After she did end the song, her fans wanted more and she did let them rock! You will see how much they love her and how much she respects them.. They were not on perfect pace while singing alone, and she did sweetly lead them back on time 😊
And then started vocalizing and dancing with them.. A great show of love and respect

And stop wondering why she is not famous like Cel.Dion, she lived a double nightmare in USA, the brutality of Sony Music boss and Cel.Dion's husband who blocked her career instead of promoting her as he was supposed to do and a tragic love story, a betrayal from the Sony Music manager Walter A. She sank into depression and came very close to suicidal thoughts because of all these. But she is a heart of gold and never spoke in public for those crimes. I only doubt if she is going to choose the right time to withdraw from the microphone

I understand what you meant and, even if you’re goal were to be inflammatory, I take no offense. Simultaneously, the other commenters aren’t wrong. A bit passionate in my defense (which I appreciate as long as we all keep decorum) but they aren’t wrong. My job, as I understand it, here on this channel is first to open myself up to these performances and allow myself to experience them as fully as I can, and second to open myself up to the viewer and express to them any and every relevant (even likely relevant) thought and/or feeling that I have. This is not a task that can always be achieve with brevity.
