I just found this song, laying in bed being anxious and scared. I got pregnant for the first time in this life and I cannot think clearly anymore, this song reminds me of my coming baby, that should be save from any harm as should be any soul on earth. It represents my wish to be a useful save bubble for my child. For the soul that decided to come here after all. It also reminds me of myself, who is still feeling like a child myself and scared I can't protect myself and the baby. And it reminds me of hiw beautiful I hope my relationship continues and how precious my partner is... Now I got tears, I'm scared of so many things, but this song gives me the courage to write the happiness, the strangeness and the painful fear out loud. Thank you James Blake 🎶

Totally agree Eric, but i doubt we can see that Blake´s side again, to me was that part in which he showed him self like a total jenius musician; But it looks that it was a hard time for him like trying to pushing him self to perfection in music rather that being more relaxed and happy like he seems to be doing now. I´m happy for him., but im miss that other part too much :'(

This is a very personal story and so beautiful. My interpretation of it is; his found stardom which lead to alcohol abuse resulting from the overwhelming pressure where he felt alone and once he broke out of that depression he morphed from a dark place and found someone who really was there for him. Where he didn’t feel the need to pretend (colour morph to gold) where he freefalls creatively into his own realm, somewhat less afraid and more willing to accept the unknown. He transcends into green then translucent floating above us, mental freedom where he can accept and love himself and the world around him. That the promise of love and to have someone to grow old with is enough and a life fulfilled
