What a madhouse. I imagine you get used to it though. Stay safe. By the way you make good points about road design in this video. I'm glad to see you preaching good practices, even if not a lot of people are listening.
@@McGirk Wow, thank you for noticing that, I really appreciate it. Yeah you'll get used to these roads overtime, I imagine this is also true in other countries.
Thanks man! I suggest you research on different kinds of geometry, frame materials and brands. I also suggest you take a look at builds in Instagram for inspiration on how you will build your first fixed gear. Don't forget to also research about gear ratios, I suggest you start with a light one like 49/17 or 47/17 and experiment from there. Good luck with your build!
There's a lot of factors to check in this issue, I suggest you take off and on all parts that are connected to the noise and regrease all threads. If it still doesn't work, try bringing it to a bike shop and have it checked by mechanics.
@16:34 When jeepneys unloads and loads on bike lanes, why do you force yourself to swerve and take the left lane? IS STOPPING NOT AN OPTION? and just wait? It's just ironic you keep telling cars not stopping on pedestrian crossing and yet you do the same with your YEP YEP? Just a thought as a car driver and a cyclist..
@@bidoro_12 it's really situational or just preference. I also swerve to the left especially beside jeepneys slowing and may be dropping passengers to not mess with my momentum on a fixed gear with steady speed. it's kind of a hassle to fully stop then pedal again with having only one gear, as also mentioned above about (high) gear ratio

hes using a fixed gear, and yes he can stop but as he said there are motorcycles behind him, and the jeepney is still slowly moving.
@Song4Matrix so why not stop?
@@bidoro_12It ain't easy to stop on a fixed gear, especially if you have a high ratio and it's really just a pain for fixie riders
