A very special man who walked into my life and stayed beside me for the last 6 years died on valentines day this year. Although he was 94 and had a pace maker I will forever be jealous of the angels because they have a man with a heart of pure gold who I was lucky enough to know. This song goes out to my wife who sadly passed away on November 2nd, 2024 in ICU. For one month, she fought various medical issues before she was eventually rushed into ICU. I had to see her intubated and sedated for a whole week before the doctors finally determined that she wasn't going to come out of this. Myself and her family had to make the difficult decision to end life support. It was the hardest decision we ever had to make. On the afternoon of November 2nd, both of our families came to see her one final time. We all stayed in the room with her as respiratory therapy turned off the ventilator and removed the breathing tube. At 3:26 PM, Brianne took her last breath and she was called home. I had so many things to say to her. Good-bye wasn't one of them.
This song sums up how I feel about my gorgeous wife who passed away last Wednesday morning at 9.00am due to pancreatic cancer which had spread to her lungs and liver. My Mom passed away this morning at 8:27. I had been by her side for 5 days, bathing her, giving her meds and spending all the time with her I could. I was holding her hand and telling her how much I loved her when she passed. I lost my Dad in July 2021 and now my Mom. The pain that I feel is immeasurable, but I take great comfort knowing she is pain free and that I will see her again one day.
2012... Mom slipped into a coma and peacefully gained her wings. 8 weeks later I was with my Dad when he breathed his last. He was there when I came into the world... and I was there when he went out. It never stops hurting. Bless you in the days to come.

She was a sweet girl. She was a wonderful gift to me. Life can pass so quickly. Today is Christmas in the year of our Lord 2020. We also were given a gift from God, our Father. For all those with family members around. Give them hugs and be sure to tell them of your love.
I am sure that is a common experience. A century ago the death rate for children was must higher, if that is a consolation. My niece had a little boy who was diagnosed as having a brain tumor when he was less than a year old. They arranged for treatment, which included surgery and chemical therapy. The first two or three operations seemed to be going well, but then they found an inoperable tumor, and then it was over. They spent a couple of weeks taking him places so that he could at least enjoy his last days on earth, museums, childrens activities. Some people in Star Wars outfits came over. For a while I guess the little soldier held up, but finally it closed in on him, and he died. They posted messages in Caring Bridge Internet site and Facebook. It was very sad. But what can one do. Life has no warranty.
My sister passed away 6th May this year very unexpectedly after a short fight with Cancer. I was in College with Kathrine and remember her voice vividly. I came across this song and it is now being played at my sister laying to rest on 5th June.
I saw Katherine Jenkins a few years ago. What a multi-talented artist. Not only does she have an incredible voice but was an incredible dancer on DWTS where she ended the competition as the runner up. Every dance was perfection and she set record highs at the time. The judges were blown away by her talent.

A year ago my mam was diagnosed with cancer and died exactly 1 month after diagnosis (11 months after my dad had died from cancer). I had to help her through this last month and plan her funeral with her which was a very emotional heart breaking time for us. I accidentally caused a friend an extra day of suffering. I didn't understand the text he sent me, and didn't go to the hospital that day. The next morning hospital wife called and said "come now". There were only 5 people he wanted with him when he passed. His wife and 2 sons, his Pastor, and me.

She wrote this song about her dad passing away when she was 10, and never dreamed of sharing it publicly but when she did it was a last minute change up. She barely made it through the words, and a person in the audience came up to her and told her a loved one had passed two days before and this song let them feel the closest they had been to them since. Then a radio station from overseas requested her song and within three weeks it climbed to number one and she performed at the Grande Ole Opry soon after. I think it makes her really happy hearing the words and music that brought her healing help other people experience the same. Beautiful performance by Katherine!

Such a beautiful rendition of Jenn Bostic's song! A few years back I met Jenn at church. She wrote this song about her dad passing away when she was 10, and never dreamed of sharing it publicly but when she did it was a last minute change up. She barely made it through the words, and a person in the audience came up to her and told her a loved one had passed two days before and this song let them feel the closest they had been to them since. Then a radio station from overseas requested her song and within three weeks it climbed to number one and she performed at the Grande Ole Opry soon after. I think it makes her really happy hearing the words and music that brought her healing help other people experience the same. Beautiful performance by Katherine!

Yes my daughter passed recently she was 7 years old and only going as got other kids I think this version is better than one we was going for. Not second time to have funeral for my own child my first child died at 3 months old

Then a year later stepfather would died of cardiac arrest at his mothers home in Alexandria Virginia and I had this song played there too. I know my baby girl and partner are together with my grandparents watching me. And yes I’m still Jealous of Angels around the Throne.
