The Global Futures Forum will showcase Oregon State’s leading work in areas of importance to and with broad implications for society, industry, government, the workforce, and citizenry. The Forum will highlight Oregon State’s groundbreaking research, related educational offerings and thought leadership. The event will create a forum for dialogue among OSU and leading external thinkers, scholars, and leaders.
The inaugural forum topic for 2024 is Artificial Intelligence.

I'm not a fan of the top echelons of academia. After seeing and hearing most the chancellor of the prestigious Purdue University said in front of 10,000 graduates mocking Asian languages it made me realize the type of culture that exists within the elite sphere and eschelon of academia.
