As always, great tips I too have tried with success. One variation on the turbo I can recommend. My wife and I got a turbo because weather pressed upon our road time. But we sold the turbo due to greatly disliking the technology, and the isolating and claustrophobic experience. In it's place (and for no cost) I've been doing a spin class at my local YMCA. Never thought I'd spin! That weather-proof, 60 minute, guided, group workout gives me great intervals and socialization. Huge "bang for the buck" in terms of time, dollars, conditioning, and human interaction! But nothing replaces time on the road. Thanks so much! KB
Whenever I am in an urban environment, I have found that cycling around 3 AM to 5 AM is pretty clear of traffic. The drivers are rested and caffeinated, the drunks are off the road, and because you have strobe lights on your bike the few drivers on the road see you easily.
Good morning, David. I hope you are over your infection. Another great video on the little things I seem to overlook to simplify my cycling and not waste time. Thanks! Happy New Year. Grace & Peace
What can help efficiency is to put your oats in milk the evening before to shorten cooking time in the morning.
Same with tea, if you don't mind a microwave oven warming. Saves 15 minutes.
3 hour ride due for all you Wags 😂
On which planet does making a cup of tea take 15mins?
Earth ... 5-10 minutes to boil water on a gas stove top, plus 5 minutes for black tea to steep, and you are close to a proper cup of tea. ☕️

Good idea! Not sure I can be up riding then though! 😃
@Forest_velo I'm an extreme morning person. 😁
