Please note that the 2016 Bunnicula cartoon is a property of Warner Bros. Discovery.
Something I realized after uploading the video was that I forgot there was a Real Housewives of Atlanta reference in Clone-icula. I’ll probably put it alongside any other references I missed if I found out I missed more.
The Warriors-inspired episode is my most favourite episode. Loved the reveal at the end for why they were after Bunnicula.
Loved all the horror/sci-fi references they managed to throw in throughout the series, especially the Troll 2 nod 😆🤣
The troll 2 reference with the presence of the fly is priceless. I just found an old Bunnicula book and looked it up and glad to see they made an adaption in some way.
There's also the episode "Bunn In Space" which is pretty much an episode homage to Ridley Scott's Alien and basically a trope of other horror characters that went to space, there's also other episodes plots that pays homage to classic horrors like The Fly, Last Voyage of The Demeter (I think it was based on something), and Count Orlock is basically a nod to Nosferatu
Does the creator still reply? Update: Im asking this because i love refrence videos and this was made 1 month ago i thought i was the only one who watched bunnicula in 2023 omg
Bro I miss this childhood cartoon so much
One of my favorite references:
Whenever Bunnicula eats spinach, he gains super strength. This is a clear reference to Popeye.
Fluffy also made a reference to elmer fudd by saying “i have to be very very quiet, im hunting vampire rabbit”
Chester makes a dumb and dumber refrence in curse of the weredude "I like it, I like a lot" quote
0:12 WE MAKEING OUT IN NEW ORLEANS WITH THIS ONE🔥🔥🔥🔥❗❗❗🗣🗣🗣🗣
2:56 oh my gooosh!
Let me give u some tips:
Episode Puzzle madness Bunnicula gives Chester a puzzle then pulls out a pocket watch from nowhere and says in gibberish "I'm late! I'm late!" Bunnicula in wonderland is that you?
The naruto run too. Bunnicula did it! I forgot the title of the episode. But it's like when Lugosi took Chester and turned him into a giant monster thing.
I actually happen to know what episode you’re talking about (Iron Bunn), I’ll make sure to put it in Part 2!
3:20 Sherlock Holmes
Ok so she knows about him right? Like there's no way you just find a rabbit with red eyes and sleeping upside down and think "totally normal"
Are there any other references within this series that can also effectively prove the pairing of Bunnicula x Chester?
I'm not sure, this video was only made to showcase the pop cultural references of the cartoon. I don't think there were any references that had to do with that fandom shipping...
@chompernineteen-ninetyfour8445 that would be a pretty interesting video but hard to find
i thought the record player ref was a mimic.
1:08 I'm so confused
It probably wasn't a reference to Rocko, but I just put it in there since Harold called Bunnicula a wallaby and the way Bunnicula is dressed slightly resembles Rocko.
