oh boy when I was a teenager we used Spektis Juomalaulu as a literal drinking song. everytime "juoda" or any conjugate of that word was mentioned (and there are many in that song, "juo", "juon", "juodaan", etc.) we would have a sip of a drink (most likely an alcoholic). but, no drinking is not cool. we were just stupid teenagers at that point. I should aslo clarify that in Finland the legal drinking age is 18, but tbh we used to do this like 2-3 years prior to being 18 :D
I think the guy you were trying to remember was Rasputin, Russia's greatest lovemachine. When he died, he was first poisoned, to no effect. Than shot, again no effect. Then thrown in a cold river, and later found halfway crawled back on shore but dead of hypothermia.
Thank u! = Kiitos! Greetings from Finland. = Terveisiä Suomesta. This video makes me happy, it’s nice to watching what peoples from other country liked finnish artist. But i have to say, it is not so cool to be drunk, that is pointless to do. But u can still like music like this👌
I think these songs are mostly about overindulgence backfiring. In the first one boosting up the egos of Nazi officials, before assassinating them one at a time. In the next one pretty much the same, but with a Zorro-like antihero saving the town from church and robbers without care for what happens afterwards. The 3rd one is just an Advertisement for VR, which is the government railway monopoly.
In the Juna song where the guy sings that he is not gonna sit on the seat for few bucks like he were sitting in the bank meaning was he was investment director of largest bank in finland at 34 y old and quit for rapping :D respect!
That was a very good video! I can also tell you how I came to Finnish rap and how it immediately became one of my favourite genres (despite the fact that I'm Czech and our languages have nothing in common :D)! Many years ago I was watching a Gumball 3000 video where the racers were taking a ferry across the sea to Scandinavia. And for a second there was a shot of Elastinen who happened to perform on this ferry. I was curious who he was and what the music was like. Naturally, I listened to Loppuviikko first. To my surprise, I loved it! Then I listened to many other songs from him, then Spekti, Jonne Aaron, Tasis and so on. Out of all these, I liked Elastinen and Spekti the most. I enjoy listening to these singers to this day, several times a month. :) Visiting Finland is definitely on my bucket list as I would love to experience the beautiful, enormous forests, as well as the breathtaking lakes. I would like to see some reindeer, try local meals, probably interact with some Finns... Well, here I am, day-dreaming. :D I hope I will be lucky enough to travel to this beautiful country.
I love the irony of how the first song is all about drinking, and you might have missed the "major plot point" of the music video where the maid poisons the coffee because you looked away for a split second while taking a sip from your bottle at around 7:20 haha
1st song was about alcoholism, like i sell cats, and dogs... 2nd song was about this law enfourser called Macho, they were not slaves, because they were committing crimes previously.Seems like a bad director to me.

Dude I just realized a Finnish Formula 1 driver Mika Salo is on the music video. Also Arman Alizad and bunch of other Finnish celebrities
The historical guy you thought was macho fantastico was probably russian rasputin

The guy who women loved was Rasputin
Please never start smoking! Drinking sometimes is alright but smoking gets you addicted and will be bad for your body (speaking from experience)
