I love this narrator so much!!!! I love Stefan Rudniki too and he’s who does the audible books, I have not listened to that narration, but I cannot fathom why the author wanted to change this fantastic rendition. I have never heard anything else narrated by Nick Boulton, but after this series I would gladly listen to more. I guess my assumption is that this is the original narrator.
Alan the alan, by the 4th century they ceased to excist, they became better known as the Davids! With 2 sub groups, the steves and the jimmys, the jimmys, settled in Scotland, hence the phrase "see you jimmy"
Actually, in the ancient Greek Roman, and Middle Eastern armies, homosexual relationships were encouraged, The theory was that a soldier would fight harder to protect his lover. This is not to say that all the ancient armies were gay, the ancient pre-christian world just didn't have as many sexual hangups as we do today.
Same sex intercourse is depicted on numerous ancient artefacts. Like it or not, it was a fact of life in the Roman and all other eras. If you don't like it, try reading the Old Testament.

Tarkan is such a great character
I consider this the best novel in the series and so much darker than the other ones.
No one:
The Herulii:
Smoke weed erryday
Good heritage to the world.
Actually lovely just having a smoke listening to this now.
And that's prolly the reason we
Scandinavians love Weed/Hasch I reckon.
Really good stories thanks

How perfect. Great novels narrated by a good English accent. I was so worried we might have an American narrating, or even worse, a European.
Well strictly speaking it is a "European" narrating.
I like this guy he does a good job. I don't care if he's a midget from boro boro.
And he would like to get paid for his work
Don't believe any of them. I'm from the future.
Templar Knight lol
