Another great historic lesson by some O.G's...I truly like the way both of you give as much history of the properties...and just how you give your description off the top of the head. Not scripted and read from a packet that is easily printed from a computer....stay on the hunt fellas👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
The Estate is beautiful, I hope whoever manages it can find what they need to keep up the maintenance. Historic places are hard to upkeep, but they are worth it. All the artwork and craftsmanship that went into that home. You don't see that anymore, these days it is hard for apartment complexes to have originality. Everything is starting to look the same and it is one McMansion after another. This place needs to be preserved for its history alone.
I'm in awe this home is breathtaking The history on this home is very educational Everything seems to be in excellent condition I'm just amazed the antiques authenticity just incredible It's like stepping back in time Thank you for the tour & sharing this video Looking forward to the investigation Take care and stay warm
16:02 So true lmao. After you have lived in a haunted house with negative entities it ruins all the paranormal movies and re-enactments. Most of them clearly have a plot and end all nice in a bow. It's never just a person trying to eat, sleep and live and occasionally not being able to go down stairs and do laundry because it feels so murderous down there at random points in the year or having it yell one word at you and it not make any sense (like mine just screamed two numbers at me while I was sleeping) and you just end up terminating your lease and stories that nobody will believe. "Yea I lived there a year, it showed me a kid made out of electricity, yelled at me and made me fear doing laundry....so I moved."
Jason I was born in Weymouth! This is very intriguing... the house is fabulous and the size of rooms etc I just love it. I hear whispers like that sometimes in the night mumbled, I always think its outside or tv...also I noticed as you walked around your camera kept going out of focus. 😬
I remember seeing a documentary once where they said a lot of people “in dem der olden days” often died of lead poisoning through the wallpaper and paint used back then.
I use to live in a old tall house in birmingham uk and you would see so many small doors leading to the attic paths as the whole house was used as rooms not a square inch not being used and made my dens in them for peace and quiet reading john whydham books as a young boy my favorite was the chrysalids and astimov books .
I love the layout of this house. The small doors throughout the rooms and the house. I wonder if the children often played in those rooms with the small doors. What an amazing place. Makes me think of Weymouth in NJ of their history too.
i still have a rotary phone that hangs on the wall withe the twin bells and yes its operational. its the best phone to hang up on telemarketers lol I "ring their bell" lol
So, fun fact, back in the day, builders would char the outside of wood because it would keep termites and other wood eating/burrowing insects away, even today, if a house is in a fire the inspector may check the integrity of the wood left and if it's still strong under the surface it doesn't have to be replaced, not saying this is the reason for the charring on those rafters though, just thought I'd share.
@kristencarlbon4561 I have always loved watching Jason and Ghost hunters . Maybe they will be able to use a different one for the real investigations on Monday. 😃✌️🎄
@@kristencarlbon4561Then don't watch it. 😂 You do understand they don't have a big studio budget, right? They pay out of pocket for everything. If it's not up to your standards, you should probably find another channel. ☮️💜👻☮️💜😂
for the investigations we use different cameras. this was with a 360 camera. They will get better. also, your system may be playing it in a low resolution.
Some of those windows lost their seal in the coupala and need to be replaced. Wait too much longer and they start to implode or crack. I know that gets expensive, especially if they have lead glass and the property owners want to keep it original. Lead glass is no longer made
I don't miss rotaries. It seems like the whole 3rd floor would initially be attic space but they closed in to make it a literal kids space. It's perfect height for kids. Couldn't see the bird because of the blinding reflection. I wonder if Sherri has seen this video yet ha ha. I can just see the investigation on the 3rd floor. Can you make a noise?....*thump*...Jason stop hitting the doorway. LOL
This is just a tour of the location. Next Monday is the investigation.
Will it be at 8 again?
I hope you experience some of the things I've had happen. Sorry about the bats....
@jasonhawes could george Washington have live there
Looking forward to it ❤🎉😊Thank you all ❤
@@ricksmith1630 Shut. Up. There's bats? 😂🤣🤣
So excited to see this investigation. My families roots come from Weymouth Mass. I lived there as a child for a time. Can’t wait to see. Much love♥️

My family had and still has a Banjo Clock shaped just like that one on the wall. It has a scene behind the pendulum, but not Mount Vernon. 4:19
Love these old homes! These are cool videos

“We’re playing a game called ghost right now” that was funny. 😂👍🏻
That basement is a hard No Way for me! Can’t wait for the investigation.
Beautiful home and it's so interesting to hear the Billy Graham connection.
What a big, beautiful home.
It’s a beautiful property.
Of all the years you have investigated homes, this is one is the one I would want to live in, I love it

Hi. Hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving.
I wanted to see inside the doors that are maybe closets. Like at 8:40 behind JV and the little one in the corner at 9:45.
Can’t wait for this!
Can’t wait…
I was about to make a Harry Potter joke about all of those closets, and then you went into the Hogwarts Great Hall in the basement! 🤣
Nope... 😂🤣😂🤣

So cool !!
19:25 So what happened to the tree? Did it just die, or did it get chopped down? Looks like they are carving out a canoe.
BASH THAT LIKE PLEASE!!! 👍🏿👍🏾👍🏽👍🏼👍🏻👍 AND COME JOIN THE PARAFAMILY!!! 💜☮️👻💜☮️👻
Is anyone noticing the video is very blurry I hope they use another camera next week.
Yes it does seem blurry 🤔 but it maybe my eyes too or that the camera lens needs to be cleaned a bit😏
@ no it’s a 360 camera with the 360 turned off. I really wish they’d use different cameras cause it’s not worth watching.

Beautiful country
They were using lead cups to drink water and other liquids! Lead poisoning was a common way to die!
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
I just visited The house of The Seven Gables & u can see the ships come in back in the day.

You Guys should of looked inside the second closet
It's a lot bigger than Mt Vernon. The basement looks like a romantic restaurant set up, with tables for one. too far?
JAY which is the closet that you lock yourself in and get touched
Huh? 🤔
