If you like YA fantasy, I would recommend Naomi Novik. I think her writing is a bit higher quality than the typical YA. She has a series of fairy tale retellings and a fantasy magic school trilogy that’s quite dark.
@@SaricaStudio For sure! I think she has only gotten stronger as a writer since Uprooted. Spinning Silver is markedly better, in my opinion, and I enjoyed Uprooted as well.

I miss your journaling Sarica, great your back! I always come back with your IG and youtube for journaling inspo. I was not consistent with my journaling this year and couple of months last year too because of hectic schedule, anxiety and was not really in the mood to journal, and so I’m starting to journal again and experimenting different layouts this couple of weeks. Thinking of either sticking with TNs or dated planners lol. Hope to see more plan with me videos of you soon.

I totally understand trying to hold back from having too many journals/ planners. I started with so many this year and then fell off a few. I feel like for 2024 I have not learned my lesson mostly because I am so tempted by pretty stationery. I hope this system works for you and I hope that I don't drop anything again lol currently looking at A5 Hobonichi Avec for personal journaling, Travelers Weekly for planning/appointments, Hobonichi Weeks for Media journaling, and Ours Studio Research Journal for Language learning/practice. Also some book recs I have are Gideon the Ninth for the fantasy read. It's really great. And for a non fantasy but still fiction type read, I recommend Murder Your Employer. It's like a dry humor/ dark comedy type of book with the writing style of A Series of Unfortunate Events. Its a really fun read.
In your old videos, you often use gigantic stickers... you don't use them again now? I always have 2 journals one is to share my thoughts on any dramas and movies I just watched, and the other one is when my suicidal thoughts attack. in this one, I rarely wrote anything. I collected as many quotes as possible according to my symptoms. When that particular symptom comes, I just stick it into the journal and decorate it with random stickers
I used to use big ones in my TN but for this A6 sized notebook I like to use small ones because I write a lot. Thanks for sharing your journaling process ❤️🩹
